its very simpel

when you are learning a function to a midi value,

you just hit the platter WITHOUT spinning it.

( if i'm wrong tell me )

because its touch sensetive you can use it as an button.

whe are using this function with our digital jockey

If it can help, think of it as a bunch of "if" or "switch" clauses. If button 1 is pressed, trigger this action, if fader one is slid(?) trigger this effect and increase value X, etc...

instead of crossfading audio, it cross fades between 2 effects adding effects trails to the fade.
