Vanessa German came to speak to us at a "the future is mine" field trip and leadership conference.

she recited "if my hands were anything other than hands" and "hey man i like your shoes"

it was so moving, i had goosebumps and cried. similarly to this video.

Beautiful poem, she is so well versed. Thank you. I am a dark black african girl and I love it when the sun turns me into a jet black princess. We as people are too easily brainwashed. If it's not about the colour of skin, then it's about size, if it's not size then religion. We are all equal. Thank you to the poet and poster. x
