what is the differance between "Roma" and "non-Roma"? I asked because I just found out about Django Rhinehardt. which is how I discovered this and the terms were mentioned in wikipedia about those influenced by Rhinehardt.

No, he began playing at the age of 24, but that was only a little. When he was 33 he began for real and the year after he joined Hot Club de Norvége.
