Hi, I'm from the Philippines and I'm in love with the mustangs. Is there any way I can get these beautiful animals shipped to our country. Since you want to get rid of them, why not allow them to come to a new home that loves them.

I already know it's foolish,but i can't think of any other solution than that .i just can't standby while these people keep slaughtering the horses as we wait till the bill gets passed who knows how many are left by then.Ugh, taking in reality of what is happening to the animals is hard especially to the other animals.And besides sorry if this may offend you-even if we pray miracles don't happen all the time.Knowing that guess i'll just face the future head on and accept whats going on for now.

hey i got a solution despite this being a negative comment if someone can at beable to locate where this BLM place or whatever and just murder everyone one of them i mean i not sure if the government will even look at this seeing how many people file up animal problems on websites.they may look at this to be a trivial matter and just bat an eye like it was nothing or perhaps they have there hands full with other things.oh better yet find the place and gather people there and fight back.

BLM is actually run by RETIRED BLM members who have a non profit organization called the PLF, Public Lands Foundation. They are the ones that make up these policys and very VERY few Americans realize this. In fact at this time behind EVERY government agency is a quaint little "non profit" organization, run by people who make the policies for the government. ISN'T THAT SPECIAL. I ran into this fact while researching wild horse adoptions. Let me tell you it STINKS.

perhaps the horses can be used for something useful...if not in our country then perhaps another country would like to adopt them. but then it always comes down to proper care and treatment. horses were brought to america on ships in the 1400's or 1500's.

Also, the BLM which stands for Land Management, has no business managing livestock. Land management's job is to develop land for housing and getting building permits. they have no business being involved in the management of livestock or any animal of any kind.

If you really hate wild horse round ups and the treatment they receieve after they are captured.Rather than wanting to adopt one to OWN one.Why dont you adopt one or two,then release it to a sanctuary or back to the wild?I guess you can call it recycling wild horses.The BLM has over 50,000 wild horses in holding pens and only 5% are adopted out each year.The amount of wild horses left in captivity are sent to slaughter with many more to be rounded up and suffer the same fate.

Actually Viggo Mortenesen now owns Tj.(Hidalgo) and Brego and Hasufel from LOTR. He's an activist in almost every field: Wild Lifre preservation, UNICEF, Fighting Hunger and the war in Iraq. I could go on forever about how great and cool he is. He's totally my role-model.

Yes. Anyone who has been to a BLM "Adoption" event knows that the wild mustangs and burros are desperate, sad and stressed almost to death - it's pretty awful. The only alternative is pressing for political change and protecting the identity of these unique animals.

The slaughter houses for horses are running day and night, look it up, NEED TO CONTACT YOUR SENATORS IF YOU CARE, for horse meat for Europe, thousands of HEALTHY HORSES ARE being rounded up. Even in foaling season, foals are often crushed. It is HORRIFIC!!!

To avoid a repeat of last year's CARNAGE, no capture should take place at any time during foaling season. Penalties MUST BE ESTABLISHED FOR INHUMANE VIOLATIONS OF PROCEEDURE, slaughter sales MUST BE STOPPED, if horses are not adoptable, they need to be released!!!!

Hildago was such a great movie, wasn't it? I enjoyed it so much, and I love the scene of those thosands of wild horses running in the end, so beautiful. Imagine how many horses the people had to round up so they can release them for that scene!

Thank you for speaking out! In San Diego county, California, our only wild horse herd was rounded up in secrecy by State Parks, and taken from their native range in Coyote Canyon, Anza-Borrego. San Diegans are furious. A few mares and stallions were saved, and some dedicated people are working to restore these historic treasures to their rightful place on the land. With the kind of public support videos like yours can generate, these horses may roam free again.

Thank you. The plight of the wild mustang, especially with their history and Spanish heritage and the amazing re-emergence of the pure Spanish strain of Sorraia makes themn not only America's horse, but living history. Highly intelligent and able to co-exist with mankind for 25,000 years, they are surivors and deserve our protection and support. We must stop the decimation of the remaining animals as well as their slaughter.

Amen!!! It's a shame the Mustang is decreasing. There is still a small flock in (no I don't dare to tell where) . I hope they'll have their safe haven there still for a very long time to come.
