I've started Kung Fu, with the specific style a "Natural Boxing" style. It takes its "inner" workings from Tai Chi, and we do LOTS of stretching. The teacher advises that the stretching and Kung Fu stances help strengthen tendons as well. Three times a week would probably a good option too, I suppose.
@1:35 Coach Poliquin says as long as the Yoga follows proper biomechanics, it should not be an issue. I'd just refrain from anything that looks extreme. In fact, i'd just stretch. I have The Poliquin Principles, a book authored by Coach Poliquin, and i follow his stretching recommendations. No need for Yoga, after all i'll never be a porn star.
I'm new to yoga, but I consider to give it a try. Are there specific forms of yoga, that you recommended or discourage for weight training people? Thanks
