Sounds too glassy and bright, I like my Teles to sound FAT, and I know this thing can do FAT, I've played one and I don't think you do justice to this guitar's inherent FATness. BTW You have to type it like that, FAT

How do I date my american vintage 52 tele? Do I have to remove the neck? serial number 70754. Any help would be much appreciated

No but seriously why do you need to date it? Are you selling it or just curious? BTW Go to The Guitar Dater Project, you're going to need more than 70754 though, according to that serial number the guitar was made in 1960-61

I have the same Tele, but the only diffrence is that I changed the 3 way switch to a more traditional 3 way switch that uses a spring. I used the vintage wiring diagram instead of the modern one, and left the 2 orange drops in the guitar. I wanted my Tele to look and sound like a 52 Tele.

Can someone help me!? I bought a 52 fender tele at a pawn shop for $500. I am pretty sure it is an American 52 reissue, but how do i tell by the serial numbers under the fretboard? And how do i know if its a 52 or a "Baja"?

I am sure he knows how to play guitar a billion times better than you, but only reason he is showing the same riff is to compare tones for each pickup so that someone could decide is the guitar fits the range of tones that they would prefer. @Dia3lot Well, I just try to understand. Guitar is my hobby, so after day work, I play pieces of music that I like and try to learn some new ones. Of course, it would be a better time investment to learn scales, techniques, but it would be less fun.

Oh and by the way, I like to play different guitars, and I can offer myself these beautiful guitars, so why shouldn't buy these ? Some people buy cars, motorcycle, cigarettes, etc...

Anyway, keep playing your guitar and have fun.
