Good spying. Too bad that on the 360, every single fuckin' person spychecks. It pisses me the fuck off, because I had no intention of attacking the person who randomly attacked me. However, I had no clue that the left was a definite backstab was on the left side. I should have known this. Thank you! Also, if you can answer this, how did you set up your 360 controller? I for the life of me can never figure it out.

I'd say he's on PC and for some godawful reason using a 360 controller. You can see when he opens the disguise case there are the button symbols like a controller, but at 3:12 a Steam window comes up in the lower right.

Chill. He's playing on pc because his hud is white when he gets a kill. ONLY PC VERSION can have a score on 2fort over 3. (notice red score is 7 at 2:44) To explain his slow joystick like turns he uses a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard.

I didn't see him do poorly at any point... except maybe where he stabbed that guy in front of that sentry and got killed, but everybody does that once in a while.

its clear to me now that he is on 360 because after he stabs the sniper on the battlements he spins slowly while jumping down.

but regardless,

1. hes playing vs total noobs (everyone on 360 is a noob tho)

2. hes doing nothing complicated besides just running very basic paths and getting behind people for a stab. nothing fancy at all, no skill, just basic beginners spy

his tips are crap such as the "left side stabs are definite" and he probably couldnt compete on pc/steam

No, he's not playing on the 360. On the 360 the HUD doesn't show kills in white, it shows them in black.

In my opinion this guy is trash aka "beginner spy" and beginners shouldn't be trying to teach other beginners how to play. Not only are they both in the same boat but his tips would actually make a player worse. He's showing clips of him getting extremely lucky or even completely missing stabs such as on that sniper. People who want to learn spy or even just see a spy in action should watch another vid cause this is just embarrasing.

This is very helpful! And don't listen to those people you're a great spy. I mean come on if you're too cautious you won't get any kills, you have to expect to be noticed if you kill someone in a crowd, it's what the invisibility is for.

One problem... with the fact you stating that all players in tf2 are right handed theres a simple console command that makes it look left handed... so infact there's a wider radius on characters than just their back. Hence getting side stabs or the occasional face stab, which is caused when both players swivel and the spy gets the knife to register that small area of back and then it continues with the animation, hits and then in fact kills them.

Please read the comments below, I do play on normal pc servers like it said at the end of the video.The disguise menu has changed to look like a 360's because I play with my 360 controller on the pc, and incase you didn't notice there was a spy stabbing a heavy to make sure he wasn't a spy.

Spies disguised as medics don't have an über bar, so you can see a medic spy just by looking at him. That's why you don't disguise as medic.

Hey somewhere at the begginig that sniper was your nemesis! It's weird you didn't kill him... well you did after. When I have sniper nemesises I just turn into a spy, cloak, dusguise, uncloak when no one is looking, run to that ledge and BAM! A dead sniper on the floor. Of course I go crazy 'cause every one knows I'm a spy, I cloak and with luck, I return to my base with 1 HP. By the way, this sure helped me!

actually alternating between pyro and demo disguises is normally a bad idea. now almost everyone knows how spy acts (most disguise as pyro) my advice is to be unpredictable. i could start unloading a bunch of tips now, but i don't want anyone to know my techniques :twisted:

Well it's because the uber charge amount percent doesnt show up under your name so people will know that you are a spy.Hope I helped.

i'm giving you another tip.. When you are disguising and then turn to cloak the enemy can see u because of the smoke.. That means First cloak and then disguise ^^

I got one, it sucks only good for killing enemy spies and if you're very lucky and find a low health person and nobody around shoot them otherwise don't use it

it's the best gun in the game, fast reload, large clip, high chance for criticals... it just rocks. always aim for the head.

Don't forget the revolver's range. You can shoot a powerful shot from a long range but with more maneuverability than a sniper and more power than a scout or engineer's sidearm.

good but just to put this out there, 90 degrees in any direction including up and down from the middle of the back counts as a backstab so if your standing on them or their standing on you the latter of which has only happened to me once
