I just want to say that this does not work. I was a Christian all my life and have since realized that it's just not this easy. You actually have to put work in to have a relationship with the creator. You have to cleanse your mind and then the spirit will come to you. Simply chanting a pledge of belief does nothing. Yes, we must also live in fear of the wrath of the Lord, but with Jesus, His begotten Son, dying on the cross for us, we were blessed with His grace, and our sins were forgiven. I agree with redbonesmkia, there are fossils that look alike, but they still have missing links within each other. Humans have changed "truth" throughout history, while the Bible remained the same, and was and is always true.

Also, for example, the monkey to human chart. We did not just go from monkey to humans in 4 or 5 steps over time, but we should have undergone over hundreds of evolutionary changes. Over the time that Earth existed, there simply hasn't been enough time for us to undergo that many changes from monkey to humans.

I don't wanna goto heaven there are a buncha freaks there that would be like going to hell for me. Not to mention my significant other is Budhist. So she wouldn't be there and I would spend eternity without her.. Fuck that.
No I would rather just be 6 feet in the dirt like all the non-skydaddy believing people and buried next to the people that meant so much to me.
Until then, I will be having the time of my life and not feeling 1 bit ashamed for it.

@iversonmatthew Those "freaks" will not be freaks to you when you understand once you are made alive in Christ. Also, you will be alone in hell and your body will be a meal for worms. The bible says you'd say your last sentence, revealing your underlying motivations for rejecting what is plain as day. Please repent, as life is quick.

God has given a significate amount of evidence for His existance for those who seek Him, those who dont, they close the door & veil themselves from the truth and the life God has instore, if u truley love the ppl close to u isnt it worth it to really look into it, who knows it could mean there destiny as well. also dont focus on the freaks there wont be any in Heaven, focus on God.

As for your Buddhist girlfriend, if she really is Buddhist, then she must at the very least accept Jesus as an incarnation of Buddha, like most Buddhist Monks teach, and since Buddha is called, "lord" she may not be truly in the Light of the Word of God, but she might unbeknown to herself, find herself one day at the crossroads, and she may even choose Christ.

@BreshiBaraElohim I don't speak for her, but I find that offensive. She follows the sect that rejects the super natural and embraces philosophy and science. So I highly doubt she would accept your Christianity. In fact I would say she would reject it all together.

As far as your gf...a non-spiritual sect of Buddhism, is totally not Buddhism, it is just a modern cult, which takes the name Buddha. She might as well call herself a secular humanist, there is no difference. And i do not care if she accepts my "Christianity" or not. Traditional Buddhism, believes Christ to be a Buddhisatva.

@iversonmatthew Christianity isn't just a set of rules you follow to get into heaven, it is a relationship you have with Jesus. He is your best friend, and He is always there for you. Because the Lord is our Father, we are merely trying to follow Him and His ways, not following a set of rules given in a rulebook. Honestly, I don't see how people without God find a point in living. Without God, I see no purpose in life. Money? Girls? Fame? Those things are just temporary.

@rnrkangg my purpose in life, to be good, to help people, to love people, to discover, to learn, to explore, to live its no complicated and you dont need a religion to help you figure that out or to be a good person. whats your purpose in life why is yours nay different than anyone else's will you accomplish more for the world than Albert Einstein or Abraham Lincoln(both atheists/agnostic,among others) will you do more than me a 15 year old boy who has many goals to help humanity?think about it.

@tacoman3725 The difference is that we know that there is a life after death, and we want to spend life after death, eternally, with our Father. Yes, you're right. You don't need a religion to help you figure that stuff out and I honestly am jealous that you have such purposes in life. But having a purpose in life without God is, I guess meaningless. I would think that you are a good person, from looking at your purposes, and I really hope you later learn and accept Jesus Christ.

Religion was made to understand the grasp of life after death. Kinda like a nice fairytale to tell your kids what happens after you die.
Hell was made to convert people into religion in order to avoid damnation for eternity into the lake of fire. What a nice club you guys got going there.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna enjoy my life to the fullest and not waste it sitting in a church hearing a guy talk for 3 hours.
