A very tough piece to play The most difficult parts are the sections when the phase relationships between the basic rhythms are fluctuating because you can't listen to what the other person is doing or you will automatically sync up with their rhythm--and you can't!!

Exactly! And i was (and still am) surprised,how much in this piece is NOT written out to the last Beat but is improvised and left to Interpretation to Interpretation to some considerable extent.

@gurcrist The actually speed of the phases themselves can be at a little quicker or slower pace, which would give or take a few minutes off the total running time...
