THAT just PROVES you people are OKAY. You've passed my test : )
Sorry I got nasty but I had to do it for re assurance. It's my style.
I wil not wear that RFID chip. END OF.
I'm sick of these governments, oil and power companies, politicians, banks, organised religions and their appalling histories, CCTV, and the limited tolerance people have for anyone in particular these days. Screw money.
@dutchmcgee101 You need to make yourself a little clearer because the Bible also says the demons believe but yet tremble. There is a saving faith that demons don't have because they have seen HIM face to face...so there is more then just saying words.
@Kelly14UK I suppose if you were out in the ocean drowning and someone threw a life jacket to you and said take a hold or you'll drown, you'd say the same kind of thing to the person throwing the like jacket?
Yes, Jesus Christ is a great God, and He took on YOUR SIN so you wouldn't have to be punished for it, but that's okay, you'd rather drown that take that ole like jacket...fool!!
@carpentersdaughter2 You know I was reading your post nodding to myself thinking " damn, I get their point, it's like Jesus is WARNING people about something that's out of his hands, and trying to help " Then you have to go and spoil it with your insults. Christians eh? FUCK YOU YOU FAKE
@Kelly14UK Believe me, you ddn't come here to learn any kind of truth but to mock. so if I hurt your little ole feelings, well, I'm still not sorry for the simple reason that you're feelings aren't really hurt. You just want to try and make a false point.
Christians are not perfect and if you put them there, well, it's your fault if they fall off that pedistal. Christians are sinners just as you are a sinner. The big difference is that we've been forgiven.
Jesus is judge. jury, and executioner. He alone can open the seals, and all who accept jesus into their hearts, believe he is the son of god and created the heavens and the earth, and believe he died on the cross for your sins, went to hell for 3 days, and was resurrected and then raptured after he came back. They will be saved saying will not be saved is against scripture.
19But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
20But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
1Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Not everyone who calls me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of God.... I couldnt agree more. Those who call Jesus God might be the ones he's refering to...Just a thought
@imwatchuvideo Well Jesus is God and those who don't acknowledge this will die in their sins. These are the words of Jesus, so it's important to believe who Jesus is, otherwise, they are believing in a false gospel.
@carpentersdaughter2 As I have witnessed there r those who profess & seemingly worship CHRIST, speak in tongues, stand in the prayer line at church as "intercessors". Some call themselves prophets yet they have no understanding of GOD's will neither love & true commitment to GOD. They divine of their own accord even prophesying curses & sickness on other believers (in JESUS' or HOLY SPIRIT's name) some of them even growl or hiss like snakes as they pray great sounding prayers for others. Beware!
@carpentersdaughter2 BULL-BULL-BULL! Jesus is as much 'God' as you are. Christians regularly declare that Jesus SET ASIDE HIS GOD-HOOD TO BE ON THE EARTH! He DID behave most like God would if God were human ("What I see The Father do before me, only that do I do") He is the SON of God, just like Adam, just like all who join His family ("He who follows my commandment, THAT is my brother or sister or mother." ... funny how 'father' wasn't included, no?)
@mythmanjay So why did Jesus take on worship from His Disciples since you say He wasn't God in the flesh? I guess you must disregard the Gospel of John too since he so adamently taught that Jesus is God in the flesh..you know where he says that HE meaning Jesus, the word became FLESH and dwelt among us..oh I guess that doesn't count.
@carpentersdaughter2 Why did He DIE if He was God-in-the-flesh? I guess YOU must disregard the Gospel of John where Jesus cried out, 'Why have you forsaken me?' Where did I say He wasn't God-in-the-flesh; did YOU infer that from 'Jesus is as much "God" as you are?' Is that to imply that YOU are NOT a child of the promise?
@mythmanjay You know enough for it to be dangerous but not enough to get it right.
You said it was bull that Jesus is as much God as I am..so there, you can't even remember what you wrote to me. And that was only three days ago.
Since you can't or won't understand what I write, how can I expect you to even come close to what God's Word says? all you want to do is mock...well, go ahead, you have free will, but remember, so does God and once you step from time into eternity...well???
@carpentersdaughter2 I'm sorry you're too BLIND to see WHERE i SAID THAT EXACT SAME THING and how it was YOU saying 'Jesus isn't God"; but all I can do is pity you.
@carpentersdaughter2 I said that Jesus is God as much as you are---i.e. all we have of Jesus are stories of the way He was, just like all I have of you and all you have of me. If you place His story above your own, you sever their connection.
@mythmanjay This is where you go so wrong. The prophecies of the first coming of the Messiah which were over 100 prophecies, all came to be fulfilled in Jesus. Even the very year in which he was to be crusified. Please don't parrot that Jesus self fulfilled these prophecies because there was no way that Rome or the Jewish Pharisees were about to help Jesus fulfill even one, let alone 100.
I am not god, nor will I ever be, but yet Jesus who is God in the flesh came to die for our sins.
Take time to investigate these prophecies, and I don't mean that you should go to some atheist site to get false answers. I challenge you to check out these prophecies for yourself. You do the work.
@imwatchuvideo of God. they are covered by Jesus and don't have to worry because they don't know right from wrong. They are innocent.
Hope this helps. Also, for those who never ever heard the gospel never heard of the Bible, God will judge them by the law that He put on their heart and how they lived accordingly, but that's only to those who never ever heard the gospel or even about the God of the Bible.
This video states a very important truth but it misses the point of Jesus' words somewhat. Notice that most people who miss out on heaven are saying "Lord, lord...did we not do all those things in YOUR name?" They did all those miraculous things in JESUS name. But what did Jesus say earlier? He said it is only those doing the FATHER'S will who enter heaven. Do you know who the FATHER is (HE is NOT Jesus)? Are you worshipping the FATHER in spirit and truth?
@MaxGravitas This passage of Scripture means that Christians must be led by the Holy Spirit in all things. In that way we will do God's will. There are many who are doing their own will. They will say 'Lord,Lord' on that day. Who is the Father? Jesus said, "..he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.." Jn.14:9. God became a man when Jesus was born. Jesus is both God & man. When we obey Him we we do the will of the Father.
@MaxGravitas@MaxGravitas The father, The son, and the holy spirit are three in one and one in three. Jesus made the heavens and the earth, and jesus said that the only way to the father (YHWH) is through jesus. PERIOD. and all actions of man are as filthy rags before god, the only thing will save any of us is jesus, that is it there is no other way to heaven. Heaven is a destination from which many streams run into, it is one single course, and that is jesus.
There's even plenty of husks among the true biblical Christians. You must repent turn from all sin and trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross alone for your salvation.
To be honest with you, I never lost faith in God, I had questions in Christianity. I studied philosophy, history, quantum mechanics, Buddhism, Taoism, I learned to have an open mind, tried to learn from different religions, a lot of things I couldn’t understand before has been explainable. Today, I all feeling closer to “god”, I can look at “god” from different angle, and I can appreciate that god is not personal.
@hellobil God is a supernatural being, and is very personal. the only way any of us can get to know God is through Jesus Christ and without Christ, we might as well pray to a rock because the only way to get to God is through Jesus.
Each of us has questions as we go along in this life and there are many religions that claim to have the truth. The God of the Bible is the only one that has proven Himself to be true and have the truth. Without Christ we are dead in our sins.
@hellobil The really nice thing is, Jesus who is God in the flesh, took on and paid for our sins for us. This is a gift from God but if we reject Christ as the only way to the Father, then we will still be dead in our sins. The god of Islam didn't die for mankind but has man die for him... Buddhaism is no way at all..
There is only one truth as far as eternal life and God are concerned and that is Jesus Christ.
@subcutaneousboredom The will of God is that no one should parish but have everlasting life, but the thing is, because man has free will not everyone will repent and trust in Him.
YHWH is the tetragrammaton. Jesus was the God in the Old Testament in which the prophets spoke to and spoke for. The Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit are three personalities but yet one God.
These are really deep questions that need more of an answer then what I can give in these small text boxes.
Your quote” God created everything = God creates dinosaur, that is just a word trick. Because whatever future unknown new discovered species therefore can also be “included”, and the bible is never wrong. The trick goes on. What proof do I have that bible is wrong? For the absolute geuine or wrong, only Mathematics and factual history has. Everything else are judged by your moral standard and value.
@hellobil I have shared with you that you must take the time to investigate the prophecies that were written from 500 to 1500 years before they were ever fulfilled by various authors.
If you do not wish to take the time to do that, then I suggest we stop right here. Mathematics plays a huge role in this and what are the odds that even 8 prophecies being fullfilled on anything, let alone hundreds of prophecies. There no trick in this and I don't see how you come to that conslusion.
@carpentersdaughter2 Thanks for your time. I agree that we should call it an end. Let me tell you, I was baptized when I was seven and I had been a faithful Christian for 20years then more questions starts to flow in my mind. Faith is important, but search for reasons and for the truth makes us wise. In every religion, flaws are created either deliberately with political agenda, or by inability of language or by the elaboration of the writer, which makes some of the parts nonsense. Cont.
@hellobil I'm sorry for not getting back sooner. Our daughter who is in her forties is very, very ill and it doesn't look good for her. I've been away from here because it's been really hard. I'm trying now to catch up on all the comments made to me by others and yourself and it's taking me a long time to catch up.
There is a book by Josh McDowell that's titled "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" He was an atheist set out to disprove God and Jesus..
You might be able to find it on ebay if you are interested. I would say that this is one of the best books on the market for showing in an intellictual way that the God of the Bible is who He said He is and is trustworthy. The only other way is to study the prophecies of the first coming of the Messiah and how Jesus fulfilled every one of them. Daniel the prophet prophecied down to the very year that Jesus was to be born and that's something no one can do to try and fulfill prophecy.
@carpentersdaughter2 Jesus also didn’t name himself a religion. “False Prophet”, are those who try to wonder people with magic, to make them believe that they speak for god, and they gather their power on earth through tiding people into some religion gang with threats like “you will go to hell if you are not with us.”, these are the people who Jesus said he didn’t know them. Cont 4
@hellobil Hell is seperation from God and sin seperates us. What each of us needs to learn is that our own sin seperates us from God, so we can't blame Adam or anyone else when we sin. Once we learn that it is our own sins that have seperated us from God, then we can go on to learn that Jesus, who is God in the flesh, took on the punishment for our sins for us, so we wouldn't have to be seperated from God for all eternity. Getting to the point of faith is not easy for some...
while it is easy for others. If you truly want to know if the God of the Bible is true, then tell God and ask Him to show you, and take time to research this out. I had so many questions, and for a while, I became an atheists..I know that's hard to believe but for several years I didn't believe that any god existed. That's a long story, so won't go into that. All I can say is that after much study and research and finally a place of faith, God proved Himself to be true.
@carpentersdaughter2 I admired your persistence in your faith. I really disapprove people who talk about faith, but deep inside all they want to do is to attract people to join in. Finally, I want to give you my best regard, God be within you all the time. –end-
Religion is The Anti_Christ (The Bread that Leavened the Lump-World); Many art lost because THEY WORSHIP The Images/Ensigns Religion GIVES THEM! THE(Roman Catholic's) CROSS Isaiah 46:7, THE(Muslim's) STONE Habakkuk 2:11, and THE (Jewish) STAR Amos 5:26. People Worship IDOLATRY; Yet they think God HAS CHANGED!!! Habakkuk 2:19, Jeremiah 2:27 and 10:14. LOOK AT RELIGION, THEN LISTEN TO GOD!!! Leviticus 26:1
I hope that all those that watch this video will come to knowledge of the truth and will accept Jesus as their Saviour because He is the only way to heaven.
@1954phyllis Thank you sis for those beautiful words. I've been so down lately. There's a lot on my plate to deal with and when I come here, all I get is negative comments, and it's nice to read yours.
@carpentersdaughter2 You're most welcome. I guess the atheists and God haters have nothing better to do with their time than to attack Christ, Christians. They are really workers of Satan. Don't let them get you down.
I know I am upsetting Carpenter’s daughter very much. I don’t mean to challenge, I just try to learn from you guys. I have been studying a lot of different religion, and I just like to know what make it the only truth for the Christian. PS. I do believe in God, but up to this moment, my god didn’t have face or temper, and god is owned by everyone including all animal, and all alien.
@hellobil I apologize for appearing upset. I've been away from the computer because of some personal pain that I've been going through. I didn't mean to lash out on you. Please forgive....
Why are people who don't believe so blind!? No you can't get evidence because otherwise it's NO TEST! Do you get the winning lottery numbers before you buy the damn ticket? NO. Why be so comfortable to rely on science 100%? You have never got anything worthwhile for free, so why do you think you got this earth for free?
If evolution is real, how come there are still gray areas? Why are the main religions all aware of Jesus? Who has ever done what Jesus has before his time? WAKE UP!
@danielkirk1 For the most part, people are blind because they want to be. They don't like the idea that they have a creator who tells them that sinning is wrong. They love their darkness and love their sin and don't want to be saved or bothered with the whole thing. It's a matter of an evil heart that loves darkness rather then light.
@carpentersdaughter2 Very true friend. We just have to love them and pray and hope they wake up before they lose the love of Jesus and Yahweh. I in all my life have never seen such active atheism, truly disheartening. God bless.
@danielkirk1 Daniel, may I ask you what is the definition of atheism? Do you mean someone who doesn’t believe in god, or someone who doesn’t believe in a “personal god, i.e. a god that has human character and emotion? “ What is god? Yahweh is just a name, how about Mohammad? How about budda? All fake? but Yahweh is real? Why?
@carpentersdaughter2 Daniel, I know a lot of people like me would ask, if the creator in bible is real, then dinosaur would be a man make fake? Since there is no mention of dinosaurs. If you say, the Genesis use only few sentence to explain 4 billion of earths, it is a bit inconvincing. But if you say bible was written by men, who didn’t witness those 4billion years, then it is convincing.
@hellobil The Bible does speak of Dinosaurs, it just doesn't use the English word for them. In the Book of Job, which is the very first book written and the oldest of the Old Testament books speaks of these giant creatures.
The Bible is full of information on our universe that no one could have known back then and only in the last one hundred years science had just discovered this information. Get to know God's Word, you'd be amazed at how much science is in it.
@carpentersdaughter2 You are using the Book of job to hint the creation of Dinosaur by god, it is very remote, compare to Genesis. Speaking of the book of job, it is more like a make up story because it has some fundamental flaw in chronicle logic. The speech between God and Satan logically suppose unheard by Job or any 3rd party but yet being recorded into the book. Its like a dead person writing how he had died.
@hellobil Since mankind and all animals were created by God, that means that dinosaurs were created by Him. No the book of Job wasn't a made up story. The Holy Spirit is more than able to tell what went on or goes on in heaven. Don't compare God to a mere mortal man. What proof do you have that the Bible isn't true. I'll be glad to tell you, absolutely none.
Whether to love Jesus, or to practice Zen, has no difference, it help us to choose the right path to return to our origin, every body are part of god. God does not own by any religion. Good religion is about legitimate method to help us return to god nature. However in this world, there are so many bad interpreters who impose incorrect concepts to us, that depart us from our goal further.
@carpentersdaughter2 We can't say all road leads to god. There is a specific way leads to god. I am saying that different religion are teaching the same way to god, but they elaborate them in different format, according to their culture, their historical background, and their methodology. People has a selfish mind, they fall in love personally with their own religion and therefore accusing other religions are of trash thinking.
@hellobil As I have said, any one can say they are only way to heaven, but it takes time to investigate whether a religion is saying truth or a bunch of bunk. One can't be lazy and expect to get a proper answer to such an indept topic.
If Bill Gates said he has the best software, it would be expected that he prove it. Well, anyone can say anything and in order to get to the bottom of this, it takes time and effort to find the truth. It can be found if you want it.
In principle, to live a life is of a sin nature, as long as we live, we are being influenced by every activities happening in this material world, this is like a computer program that implanted to our thoughts and instincts and carry with us when we died, this though affects our choice of our next destiny when we died naturally. We need to practice a good life, Jesus or budda are those who had “cracked” the program, and know what to do in order to become god. continue.
@carpentersdaughter2 Every religion say that they are the only way. How can we decide which one is the truth? You said you based on prophecied of 500 years, but if you had studied i Ching or Buddism, you will find there are overwhelming prophecies at really come true, and you would wonder how they have such scientific knowledge and intellegence back then. If we are base on these miracle prophets to make our choise, then I am lost again.
@hellobil Just because a religion is old doesn't make it truth. It's more then 500 years, but over a span of 1500 years, but in that time, there are 66 different books of the bible with over 40 different authors. All consistent with each other and proven to be the Word of God, but anyone can say anything.
Are you willing to take the time and energy to investigate this, or wil you just say, oh, I have my own opinion and will stick with that?
@carpentersdaughter2 I apologize if I had upset you. I just try to see if you can help me with some answer. Back to the bible, I know I didn’t learn much, but I couldn’t understand the act that God impose huge disasters to Egyptian in order to free Jewish slaves. It show that God is tyrant no different to human being. What can I be learned from him in the “rightness” of this?
@hellobil You have not done anything wrong. I've been so short tempered lately and even though that's no excuse, I just want to say that a lot has been throne at me lately and it's been hard to take. In anycase, you haven't done anything wrong.
Now look at Pharoah, God always came to him through Moses, and each time Pharoah refused. This falls on Pharoahs back, not God because God wanted Pharoah to let His people go. Pharoah didn't want to bow down to their God. He had foolish pride.
@carpentersdaughter2 But at the end, God did produce disaster to beat Pharoah into submission right? Isn't that as bad as Pharoah himself? If that is the only way to achieve God's goal, then there are too many innocent bystanders. So, God punish anyone who didn't bow down on him, that is Tyrant. Or I have misunderstood what you've said?
@hellobil God wasn't asking Pharoah to worhip Him. He was asking that he let millions of slaves go free so they could go back to their land. Pharoah was a murderer and didn't give any regard to human life.Remember, Pharoah had a choice here and he didn't care about these people. Why don't you critize Pharoah for the murderer he was?
Why did you even bring worship into this as this wasn't what God has for in Pharoah?
Um… Pharoah doesn’t not need to be critized, he is just a mortal, full of sin like us. But I can critize God because God should not treat Pharoah an eye with an eye, a tooth with a tooth, furthermore, innocent people should not be hurt because of Pharoah’s problem.
@hellobil What you don't seem to understand is that Pharoah had a choice. He knew what we going to happen and yet he choose not to free the Jewish people. You are placing blame on the wrong person and there are no innocent people here as they all worshipped Pharoah. Pharoah means god and all Pharoahs were gods to the Egyptians.
Pharoah should be critized because the bottom line was with him.
@carpentersdaughter2 There is an argument about what Moral standard we are using. I cannot accept that worshipping Pharoah is a sin that is deserved to die. We have no evidence about the fact that all people who worshipped Pharoah were bad people. When the angel killed all first son of the Eyptian, some of them were just babies, what have they done wrong? Did God take away the life of their babies to hurt those father and mother for their sin?
@hellobil Please don't confuse good people with God's Standard. Yes, there are many really nice people in this world. Also death always isn't a bad thing. Babies go to be with God no matter what their parents believed or did wrong. They are innocent in God's eyes. Jesus said, such is the kingdom of God.
@carpentersdaughter2 I am not saying that God punish Pharoah of not worship him. I am saying no matter what was Pharoah’s problem, I don’t understand why God has to use brut force same as human to beat one into submission, plus even include hurting innocent bystanders? This make him no difference to sinful mortals. Isn’t this the way how Kings, or lords do when they want to achieve something?
@hellobil What was God trying to do? He was kindly asking Pharoah to let the Jewish people go. The only was God could get his attention was to use force. God told Pharoah that judgement would come if he didn't let the people go.
If God is such a brut punisher, then why did God even ask Pharoah to let His people go? God could've just used his power but no, he asked Pharoah to free the Jewish people. Seems like God didn't even need to do that, but He did.
@carpentersdaughter2 Kindly asking the Pharaoh? No, he had someone else ask while controlling the Pharaoh to make sure he would say no. Seriously, that's just how the old God was. He made sure that the Pharaoh wouldn't let the "slaves" go and hardened his heart just so he could do some magic tricks/kill a whole bunch of people. Its right there in the bible, God was an ass. Or he was mysterious, whatever works for you.
@Hungryturtlez Pharoah had free will just as you have free will. When the Bible says God hardened Pharoahs heart, you must realize the difference between God just making Pharoahs heart hard and the circumstances which God did made Pharoahs heart hard...this is what it means when the bible says that God hardened Pharoah's heart..it was what God was doing that caused this anger in Pharoah's heart that made his heart hard. Many people confuse this verse.
May I share with you what I believed? I don’t believe in a personal god. I do believe that, God is the original form of all beings / all universes. God is fundamental, there isn’t any deem of right or wrong, we don’t judge by any thing, there is only cause and consequence, how you be would determine where you go next, I think this is a rule of nature. cont.
@hellobil If there is no sense of right and wrong, then that leaves this to the majority, which then means that who ever decides that life of a particular race or religion can be taken away.
Where does the information of right and wrong come from? It can't come from any chemical or material.
@carpentersdaughter2 What I mean is there is only cause and consequence. Right or wrong is a subjective judgement of relativistic thinking. ( nothing to do with the Einstein thing ). I mean, Lets using A and B , X and Y as an anology. If we live an A life, we end up in X, if we live a B life, we end up in Y. its a cause and consequence, and there is no right or wrong.
@carpentersdaughter2 There is no right or wrong. You may say there are saint and evil. For your example of rape, God using virgin Maria’s body to give birth to Christ, you may call it a saint act, but no right or wrong. In contrast, if Satan do the same thing, you may call it evil, but no right or wrong. Saint and evil are 2 sides of the nature, no right or wrong, all it has is cause and consequences.
@hellobil Morality is in each of us, it is something we are born with. Look at God's Goal and look at Satan's goal. Satan goal is to destory souls and lives of everyone. God's Goal is to redeem man from Satans goals. Because we have free will, God will not force us to believe in Him and accept His Gift He has for us/mankind. No other religion offers salvation by faith. Every other religion offers salvation by works, being good, doing good, yet Jesus offers us salvation by faith in Him.
@carpentersdaughter2 that salvation by faith includes works. You do works because you have faith. There's no one that is written about in the bible that paid taxes and went along with the norms of society. Some christians even think that God wants you to suffer. Then what does Satan want? peace and equality? Then I'm not sure what God is.
@carpentersdaughter2 Just like your video, Not everyone who believe in Jesus will go to heaven. However, there is no definite answer of what they should be doing, it still left to your own elaboration on everything, the room of error is very high. It appears that this is a threat more than an opportunity. The so called "salvation by faith" is too fainted, suffice to say it doesn't fall in line with your video. How do I know Jesus know me?? by faith alone? Raise a threat look for self soothing.
@hellobil There is no elorbation on this. After reading the gospels you will see that Jesus pays for the price of our sins for us. God will not force us to take this gift of forgiveness. It is up to us whether or not we want to be forgiven.
The theme of this video is to show some that just going to church, or even saying one is a christian makes them saved. Anyone can say their are a Christian and yet, live a life that doesn't represent Christ.
@carpentersdaughter2 That’s right, that’s the point that I am trying to make all along. It is to live a life of Jesus. He set a “model” answer to our moral standard, our value of life and so forth. So if we practice that, we leave sin and enter saint. I can live with that. But I cannot see that God is owned by the Christian, or its believer. Any one who live a life of the “Jesus type” would led to a state of “ Eternal Mystical Optimism “.
@hellobil If you look around you and if you have studied history at all, you will see that living the life of Jesus is impossible. The Bible says that Jesus was without sin and led a perfect life... no one can do that unless they are God like Jesus.
So if anyone relies on living a life like Jesus, they will soon see they fall short of this perfect life.
I hope you will see that this perfect life of Jesus can cover your sins and set you free from the coming punishment.
I have been "studying" various religion, I am struggled to believe in which one is the truth. It seems that every one of them has interesting dogma that aim to conclude our life to a destiny of eternal peace and wholesomeness. The Christian is quite emphasize on “one god” and rule out other higher beings. May I know what would be gods’ view towards Buddism, or Taosium? and what makes you so believe or choose the Christianity as the final destination?
@hellobil It is natural to wonder which one of these religions has the truth. I know I went through this, even though I put my faith in Christ at a very young age. in my teens I wondered and had questions and even stopped beliving in God all together. Then after a while with that I joined the Mormon church not knowing my bible at all.
finally when I saw that some things were wrong in the Mormon religion, I really started to investigate who is right. Now just within Christianity...
..but if God really did exist and was it the God of the bible. The qestion any of us needs to ask, if a god is going to say it is the true God, then it must back up what it's saying to prove itself to be true.
For me, I investigated the prophecies concerning the first coming of the Jewish Messiah. Prophecies are one way to proving or disproving a religion. There are over 300 prophecies concerning the first coming. Jesus fulfilled every single one, and it would have been...
for one man to fulfill even eight of these prophecies, let alone all of them. That sounds simple but when digging in and investigating this, it really is amazing. I know you can't go on what I say, you will have to do the work to see if this Jesus is who He said He is and did he fulfill these prophecies. No other religion could make the claims or even come close to what the Bible prophecied and has been proven to be true over and over again.,
@Strefanasha Yes, the matter is extremely serious and that's why I go on about this. You say osas trust not a person but a doctrinal plank. This is where you are so wrong. Our trust it totally in Christ and not in ourselves. I know that if I prayed ten times a day, gave to the poor, went to all church services, read and studied my Bible, and obeyed the law to the letter, it still wouldn't be worthy to cover my sins.
Only Christ can cover your sins, not your obedience..
we obey because we are saved, and when we stumble, God doesn't thow us out like some trash and sends us to hell. Even Paul told the Corinthians, who were fleshly Believers that some in the church were committing sexual sins with their mother in laws, and Paul warned them that God would give their bodies over to satan for destruction, SO the spirit can be saved. Now it just doesn't get any clearer then this. God does not let us go when we sin. He holds us in His hands.
This is so serious that if you rely on your obedience for salvation, then you are not saved at all. Salvation comes by faith alone, and it's Christ who died for our sins. Our obedience is because we are saved, and our salvation comes from Christ alone.
I can't change your mind on this, I know that. Only the Holy Spirit can show you that your obedience is not salvation worthty but an abomination and blasphemy against Christ.
We are saved by Grace, NOT of works, so no man can boast!
Hey sister do I get another nickel for the one who says God's eternal salvation is conditional? The enemy still works against us even through brothers and sisters in the Lord, bless their hearts. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Psalm 28. They need to spread the Good News of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins and quit their obsessive lying. They take the word of God and use it as a tool for the devil against the most loving and kind Christians, just like the Jehovah's Witnesses. I stand with you.
@Help4uNow I would be so rich if I got a nickel for every person who has a gospel of conditional salvation. This problem is much bigger and worse then what I ever thought it was. I'm so use to sharing with Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses and moonies, but never ever thought that I would be speaking to so many so called Beleivers relying on their works for salvation, rather then Jesus...It's just to, to sad to see this.
@eternalwolf777 Yeah, I know what you mean. It's meant for us to examine ourselves and be sure we are in the faith. Just as Paul tells the Corinthians so take time out to examine themselve to see if they are in the faith or not....While we have eternal security, it doesn't hurt to stop and examine ourselves to make sure that we are in the faith.
@carpentersdaughter2 Yeah... it certainly makes me want to reflect a little. Still, in the end it leaves me with a shudder. None of us is perfect... ultimately we all depend on His mercy and sacrifice. It's all any of us can put our hope in.
@eternalwolf777 I understand how you feel. I praise God so much for His promise of eternal security. I know my works wouldn't pass for much and I wouldn't even try to say in the same sentence that my works are equal with the sacrifice that Jesus did for me.
We all walk this walk trembling at times, and yet with great peace, knowing my life is in His hands and what's He's promised to us.
@eternalwolf777 This passage of scripture should not be applied to eternal security doctrine. The passage isn't about whose really saved and who isn't.This is kingdom teaching which is only applicable to those who are saved. Those who say "Lord, Lord" are saved. Entering into the kingdom is not about going to heaven. This is about the right to rule and reign with the Lord in the next age to come. Hebrews 2:5 It will be frightening to some believers who will not be allowed to reign with the Lord.
@Terry8150 Jesus is speaking in this passage about those who say Lord, Lord, and will not be able to enter into heaven. If as you say this refers only to those who are saved, then by this very scripture, it would say, no one would be saved at all because no would be able to enter.
What is the Kingdom of Heaven? It is being born again into Christ, and Jesus is speaking about those church goers that will not enter in because they didn't have a personal saving relationship with Him.
For one just because you pray jesus come into my heart foesnt mean your saved. It takes total repentance towards god to be saved. And for two doing good just to save your own hide isn't going to save you either. You do it bevause you love jesus. Jesus doesnt owe a a darn thing. We owe him. Bottom line.
@420dirtnap True, words alone mean nothing. It's what comes from the heart where true Godly repentance brings us to salvation.Doing good doesn't keep us saved, doing good is the fruit of being in the vine, which is Jesus. Without Jesus we can't produce fruit, and once we are attached to the vine, then He does all the work in us.
We do good works because we are already saved, past tense.
Matthew says: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Master, Master' shall inter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens... And then I shall declare to them, 'I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work LAWLESSNESS' Question to ask: What does YHWH call sin? I John 3:4 says sin is lawlessness. So as the christians say - 'But the Law is done away with..'Jesus nailed it to his cross' Hmm, really? Not according to the Scriptures.
@SmallSojourner If you are speaking of obeying the law for salvation, that is what's nailed to the cross along with our sins. We no longer obey to be saved but we obey because we ARE saved. Our works are because we are in the vine which is Jesus Christ, and apart from Him, we can not produce any fruit.
If you say we have to obey the law for salvation, then I hope you can live by all 600 laws that were given to the jews to keep. Do you keep all the laws?
Jesus said not one jot of the law has changed, he said to be wiser then scribes and sadducees. Therefore most do not see him at all. Jesus said that lucifer was the spiritual ruler of this world, and that this is not his world. Lucifer is the sun, worshipped on sunday, God's day has always been the Sabbath. His mercy is great, but his commandments and laws are literally set in stone.
@Phairaodoxiseonix Paul said to not let any man judge them, to whom he wrote to, to judge them on festivals, or the sabbath. We do not have to obey the Sabbath to be saved. There is only one way to be saved and that's by Jesus Christ and faith in Him and believing in whom He said He is.
To bring the Sabbath into the gospel is blasphemy and goes against everything Paul taught to the churches.
The people of this age marry and are given in marriage But those considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage and they can no longer die for they are like the angels But in the account of the bush even Moses showed that the dead rise for he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. He is not the God of the dead but of the living for to him all are alive. (Luke 20:27-38)
Mat 7:21 is speaking to the false prophets and uncomitted Christians. "He who does the Will of my Father." Those who keep God's commandments; not because of works but because they love the Lord with all their heart and soul. Totally committed. There is a difference "keeping" God's commandments and living holy for Him, and living by works. People often confuse these two things. Repentance of sin, as God does ask us to do. These are the people committed to God.
@carpentersdaughter 2 Revelation 2:5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Revelation 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
@carpentersdaughter2 No! Salvation and repentance are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ISSUES! This is where confusion comes in. F.Prophets preached "The blood of Jesus covers all your sins." This is true, but...it applies to one when they become born again. All your sins are washed away! AFTER one receives their salvation, one works to become holy, as Jesus instructed us to do. If you go to my channel, you will find videos to help you & answer many of your questions! Click on my name here! Blessing
@MamasitaDeVegas I was asking you that to see where you are, not that I have questions on Salvation. I believe I am grounded in the Word of God when it comes to salvation. I just wasn't sure where you are at.
If I had questions, I wouldn't have asked what you think on this topic.
Your first comment sounded like everytime a person sins they lose their salvaiton, so that's why I asked.
@carpentersdaughter2 When I upload my series on Witchcraft, you can see where I am, as you put it. No a person doesn't lose their salvation. I'll tell where you are at. with your "IF I HAD QUESTIONS....." You're at the rebellious spirit, pharisee stage. Blessings.
@MamasitaDeVegas Why are you so hostile, I was only asking where you were at on Salvation because of the way you made your comment. It sounded like you believe that salvation can be lost, and so I was just asking.
Why do you get so angry over this? So I have a rebellious spirit and a pharisee for asking?
@carpentersdaughter2 I am sure you mean well CD2. However, I don't have time for mind games & I believe that is what you do. I simply don't care to participate in your drama. With that said, one does not lose their salvation. However, many will FORFEIT their salvation in the end times. Many Christians will take the mark of the beast to survive during those times. They will be angry because God left them behind. I hope this is clear. Don't like to repeat myself. Your call. Info on my website.
@MamasitaDeVegas Forefeit, lose, it's the same thing at the end. When one says salvation can be lost or forfeited, then one is limiting what Jesus has done at the cross and putting the credit on themselves of the works they do.
To think that your lousy works is greater then the blood of Jesus is nothing more then blasphemy.
As for those supposed Believers taking the mark, you don't put much stock in the power of the Holy Spirit to give us when we will need at that time.
@carpentersdaughter2 Forefeit & lose are not defined the same. It has nothing to do with limiting Jesus. What bible are YOU reading? God gave us FREE WILL. My "lousy works?" Such hostility...You are so twisting scripture & God's word to conform to your opinion. You are so confused. When Christians are LEFT BEHIND dear, there won't be a Holy Spirit on earth. He will be gone with the Bride of Christ in the Rapture. You don't speak for me, thank God.
@MamasitaDeVegas The point is you are promoting a gospel of works, and if you don't like my word, lousy works, then so be it. Your works can't even come close to what Jesus did at the cross for us, yet you want me and others to think that our salvation is being held on by works...
I am not confused. I know that a true Believer has God's Promises of salvation. It is a promise of God and we are in His Hands, not our works.
Those who believe and promote a gospel of works are lost, still.
@carpentersdaughter2 No one is promoting a "works" gospel! You don't know so don't pretend you know what I stand for. I've not said anything not in scripture. Who is talking about salvation? Not me. You're hung up on one topic. There are more topics in the bible. God commands us to be holy, walk in His commandments. If those are "works" then so be it. God said it. It is written. No unholy thing (works, behavior) will enter into the kingdom of God. His words. You're wrong.
@MamasitaDeVegas I can only respond to the words you put in these boxes, and so far, you've made it clear that one can lose salvation, that salvation is kept by doing the laws and living as good as possible.
This is not the gospel of Grace as Paul teaches, Study Ephesians 2 where Paul goes into salvation, that is is a gift from God,, and it is not of works so NO MAN can boast. There's onlyy one tru gospel and it's the gospel of Grace and Mercy,
@carpentersdaughter2 beleving that salvation can be rejected by those born again is not a gospel of works. indeed trying to keep salvation by good works and law is proof of already having forsaken christ and such a person, in quenching the Spirit, may eventauly blaspheme the Spirit. can those borngain do so? hebrews 6:4 is most explicit. we stay saved by staying with the PERSON who is the Holy Spirit of Christ. reject the PERSON often enough and we will be lost. OSAS is a false security
@Strefanasha If anyone promotes that one has to obey the law to keep salvaiton then they have fallen from Grace and gone to the gospel of works. Paul speaks out against anyone who brings in another gospel to the Galatians.
Hebrews 6 is refering to those who have gone into the church, and are not Beleivers to begin with. If you try and take Hebrew 6 as meaning a Believer can lose their salvation, then read on because it says IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for them to return.
so it's imparitive to know the context of Hebrews 6 and 10 to understand, otherwise if we are to take that verse are you say, then no one can be forgiven ever again after they've sinned.
Eternal Security is a promise from God, not a false security as you believe. It's sad to see this false gospel of works being promoted among those professing Christ as savior. How can He be your Savior is you rely on your works to keep you saved.
@carpentersdaughter2 you raise 3 points, i agree with two. advocating law to remain saved is to fall from grace, as you say. and yes, when a beliuever falls away to a cetain extent it is indeed impossible for him to return. that is why i take this passage so seriously. But Hebrews 5 speaks of those who have been enlightened, who have tasted of the power to be come. only true born agains can do this, the other not, so OSAS is false.
only christians can be enlightened so they can be lost
@Strefanasha Hebrews 6 is very clear that there were some coming into the church, they were tasting the spiritual gifts, they were enlightened, which means, they were given the truth of who Jesus christ is, and yet, these people, went outside of Jerusalem, spit on the ground, stomped on the name of Jesus...they were never ever true believers and that is what the aurhor is teaching here. There is no forgiveness of sins for them...Their big problem was they were in name only...continued
they never were born again into Christ. A true Believer doesn't get treated this way by the Father. We have eternal security, that is God's promise to us, but when a Believer is doing some bad things, God will give their bodies over tor the destruction of the flesh, so the Spirit will be SAVED...get that, saved. No one gets unsaved. God will punish them and rightly so.So to blaspheme God and say He will let us go if we sin, is nothing less then blasphemy.
@carpentersdaughter2 These are not my words alone CD2. It is written. Rev. 21:7 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things,[d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,[e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” This is the Gospel of John given to him by God. The bible is not about Paul. One must walk the talk.
@MamasitaDeVegas You speak of truth, but yet you deny that salvation is of Christ alone. You want to add works to your salvation, go right ahead, I can't stop that. I can pity you though for thinking that you put so much value on to your works. Only Jesus can save us, and our filthy rags of self rightousness will not keep us saved.
Only Jesus can save us, and by adding works to salvation is nothing less then blasphemy. I pity you because you think so highly of yourself, rather then christ.
@MamasitaDeVegas Forfeit, lose, it's the same in the end. to say that a true Believer can lose/forefeit salvation is to say that the blood of Jesus just isn't quite good enough to keep us saved, but boy, our good works sure do keep us saved...BUNK!
As for those Believer you say will take the mark, well, let's just say that you don't give much power to the Holy Spirit for giving us what is needed in time of trouble. What if the early church Believers said this?..
I mean, they were eaten by Lions, set on fire, and yet, more souls came to Christ during this time. Don't you think that the Holy Spirit give them/us what is needed at that time to endure? so, saying Believers will take the mark is bunk.
The Tare church which is growing like weeds will give in but not the true Believer. And if you think you are stong enough to endure the torchure, think again, because just as salvaiton is from God, so is His power to endure what lies ahead for us.
@MamasitaDeVegas I haven't changed anything from any of my comments back to you, and I doubt if YT has changed anything. Nothing has changed, been removed or added to what I've commented back.
> How many times do you think a person need to repent to be saved? <
It's a question like: "How many times can you become a child of god."
The answer is the same: Just one time.
"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."
@fsdfmsbcxx Yes, God's Word teaches that only once does a person come to Christ for salvation. We repent when we sin because sin causes our fellowship with God to be cut off and until we acknowledge that we've sinned, our fellowship with God is in danger. The loss of salvation doesn't happen when we sin, otherwise, we would be constantly be getting a new life in Christ.
@MamasitaDeVegas Why do you have to be committed to god in order to go to heaven? Does it mean that this bible god is a personal god, and a god who trade vacancy of the heaven with your service to him? What exactly does it mean by "love the lord" ? I still have difficulty believe the fact that he is the creator of everything. He appear himself more likely as a starship commander of the Annunakis
@hellobil If Jesus is not God, the one who created all that we see, then Jesus was a fraud.I know without a doubt that Jesus created all that we see, that He came down in the form of man, took on our punishment for sins, and rose again. He died for you!! What He wants in return is to beleve who He said He is and what He did for mankind. Since God is a gentleman, He will not force you to beleive.
@carpentersdaughter2. I understand what you say, but I just couldn't understand that if you don't believe god, then you are not chosen to go to heaven. There are loads of good people who are not christian, they might be practicing Buddism, Taoism, Muslim, Islamic...etc, you name it. Are you suggesting that all these people are damned and won't go to heaven because they do not believe in God? In Paleo time, there must be people who don't get to read bible, where did those soul they went?
@hellobil It's not my suggestion that those who practice other religions will be seperated from God, but God's Word says it. I am repeating what God has said in His Word, the Bible.
The bible is clear that God has written His Laws on every man's heat, and when they stand at the Great White Throne Judgement, they will be judged on how they lived their life if they never ever heard of the Gospel, or even the Bible. God is just and fair, and these people will be judged....

SRamdhani1 3 weeks ago
@MaxGravitas @MaxGravitas The father, The son, and the holy spirit are three in one and one in three.

To be honest with you, I never lost faith in God, I had questions in Christianity. I studied philosophy, history, quantum mechanics, Buddhism, Taoism, I learned to have an open mind, tried to learn from different religions, a lot of things I couldn’t understand before has been explainable. Today, I all feeling closer to “god”, I can look at “god” from different angle, and I can appreciate that god is not personal.

hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil God is a supernatural being, and is very personal. the only way any of us can get to know God is through Jesus Christ and without Christ, we might as well pray to a rock because the only way to get to God is through Jesus.
Each of us has questions as we go along in this life and there are many religions that claim to have the truth. The God of the Bible is the only one that has proven Himself to be true and have the truth. Without Christ we are dead in our sins.

weird feeling.... feels like the robber said, " give me the money or I'll kill you".
Might as well we thank that the robber for his kindness, cause he didn't just kill you silently and take the money.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil The really nice thing is, Jesus who is God in the flesh, took on and paid for our sins for us. This is a gift from God but if we reject Christ as the only way to the Father, then we will still be dead in our sins. The god of Islam didn't die for mankind but has man die for him... Buddhaism is no way at all..
There is only one truth as far as eternal life and God are concerned and that is Jesus Christ.

What was/is the will of the father?
Where does it say that the father of Jesus was YHVH?
Could someone please answer these questions?
subcutaneousboredom 1 month ago

Everything else are judged by your moral standard and value.
hellobil 1 month ago

Cont.

WAKE UP!
danielkirk1 1 month ago
@danielkirk1 For the most part, people are blind because they want to be. They don't like the idea that they have a creator who tells them that sinning is wrong. They love their darkness and love their sin and don't want to be saved or bothered with the whole thing. It's a matter of an evil heart that loves darkness rather then light.

@carpentersdaughter2 Very true friend. We just have to love them and pray and hope they wake up before they lose the love of Jesus and Yahweh. I in all my life have never seen such active atheism, truly disheartening. God bless.
danielkirk1 1 month ago
@danielkirk1 Daniel, may I ask you what is the definition of atheism? Do you mean someone who doesn’t believe in god, or someone who doesn’t believe in a “personal god, i.e. a god that has human character and emotion? “ What is god? Yahweh is just a name, how about Mohammad? How about budda? All fake? but Yahweh is real? Why?
hellobil 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 Daniel, I know a lot of people like me would ask, if the creator in bible is real, then dinosaur would be a man make fake? Since there is no mention of dinosaurs. If you say, the Genesis use only few sentence to explain 4 billion of earths, it is a bit inconvincing. But if you say bible was written by men, who didn’t witness those 4billion years, then it is convincing.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil The Bible does speak of Dinosaurs, it just doesn't use the English word for them. In the Book of Job, which is the very first book written and the oldest of the Old Testament books speaks of these giant creatures.
The Bible is full of information on our universe that no one could have known back then and only in the last one hundred years science had just discovered this information. Get to know God's Word, you'd be amazed at how much science is in it.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 You are using the Book of job to hint the creation of Dinosaur by god, it is very remote, compare to Genesis. Speaking of the book of job, it is more like a make up story because it has some fundamental flaw in chronicle logic. The speech between God and Satan logically suppose unheard by Job or any 3rd party but yet being recorded into the book. Its like a dead person writing how he had died.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil Since mankind and all animals were created by God, that means that dinosaurs were created by Him. No the book of Job wasn't a made up story. The Holy Spirit is more than able to tell what went on or goes on in heaven. Don't compare God to a mere mortal man. What proof do you have that the Bible isn't true. I'll be glad to tell you, absolutely none.
1954phyllis 1 month ago
Whether to love Jesus, or to practice Zen, has no difference, it help us to choose the right path to return to our origin, every body are part of god. God does not own by any religion. Good religion is about legitimate method to help us return to god nature. However in this world, there are so many bad interpreters who impose incorrect concepts to us, that depart us from our goal further.

@hellobil If all roads lead to God, then this god is a schizopphrenic and doesn't know his head from the hole in the ground.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life and NO MAN gets to the Father except by me.
All roads do not lead to god because it would make for a schizonephric god.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 We can't say all road leads to god. There is a specific way leads to god. I am saying that different religion are teaching the same way to god, but they elaborate them in different format, according to their culture, their historical background, and their methodology. People has a selfish mind, they fall in love personally with their own religion and therefore accusing other religions are of trash thinking.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil As I have said, any one can say they are only way to heaven, but it takes time to investigate whether a religion is saying truth or a bunch of bunk. One can't be lazy and expect to get a proper answer to such an indept topic.
If Bill Gates said he has the best software, it would be expected that he prove it. Well, anyone can say anything and in order to get to the bottom of this, it takes time and effort to find the truth. It can be found if you want it.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
In principle, to live a life is of a sin nature, as long as we live, we are being influenced by every activities happening in this material world, this is like a computer program that implanted to our thoughts and instincts and carry with us when we died, this though affects our choice of our next destiny when we died naturally. We need to practice a good life, Jesus or budda are those who had “cracked” the program, and know what to do in order to become god. continue.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil Jesus said He is the only way to heaven, and has proven Himself to the the true messiah that was prophecied 500 years before His birth.
Living a good life means nothing if one has not been forgiven of their sins by Christ and has put their faith in Him.
Jesus is the ONLY WAY!
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 Every religion say that they are the only way. How can we decide which one is the truth? You said you based on prophecied of 500 years, but if you had studied i Ching or Buddism, you will find there are overwhelming prophecies at really come true, and you would wonder how they have such scientific knowledge and intellegence back then. If we are base on these miracle prophets to make our choise, then I am lost again.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil Just because a religion is old doesn't make it truth. It's more then 500 years, but over a span of 1500 years, but in that time, there are 66 different books of the bible with over 40 different authors. All consistent with each other and proven to be the Word of God, but anyone can say anything.
Are you willing to take the time and energy to investigate this, or wil you just say, oh, I have my own opinion and will stick with that?
Do the work and you will see God's Truth.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 I apologize if I had upset you. I just try to see if you can help me with some answer. Back to the bible, I know I didn’t learn much, but I couldn’t understand the act that God impose huge disasters to Egyptian in order to free Jewish slaves. It show that God is tyrant no different to human being. What can I be learned from him in the “rightness” of this?
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil You have not done anything wrong. I've been so short tempered lately and even though that's no excuse, I just want to say that a lot has been throne at me lately and it's been hard to take. In anycase, you haven't done anything wrong.
Now look at Pharoah, God always came to him through Moses, and each time Pharoah refused. This falls on Pharoahs back, not God because God wanted Pharoah to let His people go. Pharoah didn't want to bow down to their God. He had foolish pride.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 But at the end, God did produce disaster to beat Pharoah into submission right? Isn't that as bad as Pharoah himself? If that is the only way to achieve God's goal, then there are too many innocent bystanders. So, God punish anyone who didn't bow down on him, that is Tyrant. Or I have misunderstood what you've said?
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil God wasn't asking Pharoah to worhip Him. He was asking that he let millions of slaves go free so they could go back to their land. Pharoah was a murderer and didn't give any regard to human life.Remember, Pharoah had a choice here and he didn't care about these people. Why don't you critize Pharoah for the murderer he was?
Why did you even bring worship into this as this wasn't what God has for in Pharoah?
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 I just try to understand a very simple reason.
Um… Pharoah doesn’t not need to be critized, he is just a mortal, full of sin like us. But I can critize God because God should not treat Pharoah an eye with an eye, a tooth with a tooth, furthermore, innocent people should not be hurt because of Pharoah’s problem.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil What you don't seem to understand is that Pharoah had a choice. He knew what we going to happen and yet he choose not to free the Jewish people. You are placing blame on the wrong person and there are no innocent people here as they all worshipped Pharoah. Pharoah means god and all Pharoahs were gods to the Egyptians.
Pharoah should be critized because the bottom line was with him.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 There is an argument about what Moral standard we are using. I cannot accept that worshipping Pharoah is a sin that is deserved to die. We have no evidence about the fact that all people who worshipped Pharoah were bad people. When the angel killed all first son of the Eyptian, some of them were just babies, what have they done wrong? Did God take away the life of their babies to hurt those father and mother for their sin?
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil Please don't confuse good people with God's Standard. Yes, there are many really nice people in this world. Also death always isn't a bad thing. Babies go to be with God no matter what their parents believed or did wrong. They are innocent in God's eyes. Jesus said, such is the kingdom of God.
carpentersdaughter2 3 weeks ago
@carpentersdaughter2 I am not saying that God punish Pharoah of not worship him. I am saying no matter what was Pharoah’s problem, I don’t understand why God has to use brut force same as human to beat one into submission, plus even include hurting innocent bystanders? This make him no difference to sinful mortals. Isn’t this the way how Kings, or lords do when they want to achieve something?
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil What was God trying to do? He was kindly asking Pharoah to let the Jewish people go. The only was God could get his attention was to use force. God told Pharoah that judgement would come if he didn't let the people go.
If God is such a brut punisher, then why did God even ask Pharoah to let His people go? God could've just used his power but no, he asked Pharoah to free the Jewish people. Seems like God didn't even need to do that, but He did.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 Kindly asking the Pharaoh? No, he had someone else ask while controlling the Pharaoh to make sure he would say no. Seriously, that's just how the old God was. He made sure that the Pharaoh wouldn't let the "slaves" go and hardened his heart just so he could do some magic tricks/kill a whole bunch of people. Its right there in the bible, God was an ass. Or he was mysterious, whatever works for you.
Hungryturtlez 3 weeks ago
@Hungryturtlez Pharoah had free will just as you have free will. When the Bible says God hardened Pharoahs heart, you must realize the difference between God just making Pharoahs heart hard and the circumstances which God did made Pharoahs heart hard...this is what it means when the bible says that God hardened Pharoah's heart..it was what God was doing that caused this anger in Pharoah's heart that made his heart hard. Many people confuse this verse.
carpentersdaughter2 3 weeks ago
May I share with you what I believed? I don’t believe in a personal god. I do believe that, God is the original form of all beings / all universes. God is fundamental, there isn’t any deem of right or wrong, we don’t judge by any thing, there is only cause and consequence, how you be would determine where you go next, I think this is a rule of nature. cont.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil If there is no sense of right and wrong, then that leaves this to the majority, which then means that who ever decides that life of a particular race or religion can be taken away.
Where does the information of right and wrong come from? It can't come from any chemical or material.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 What I mean is there is only cause and consequence. Right or wrong is a subjective judgement of relativistic thinking. ( nothing to do with the Einstein thing ). I mean, Lets using A and B , X and Y as an anology. If we live an A life, we end up in X, if we live a B life, we end up in Y. its a cause and consequence, and there is no right or wrong.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil If there's no right or wrong, then anyone can do anything and no one else can complain out it.
The Muslim who wants to kill you because you won't convert, well, I guess isn't wrong for doing so because there is no right or wrong.
Or the man who wants to rape you isn't wrong either because right or wrong has been abolished.
Are you willing to take the time to investigate whether the bible is true, or just stay statud quo?
I did my homework, and I know the truth.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 There is no right or wrong. You may say there are saint and evil. For your example of rape, God using virgin Maria’s body to give birth to Christ, you may call it a saint act, but no right or wrong. In contrast, if Satan do the same thing, you may call it evil, but no right or wrong. Saint and evil are 2 sides of the nature, no right or wrong, all it has is cause and consequences.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil Morality is in each of us, it is something we are born with. Look at God's Goal and look at Satan's goal. Satan goal is to destory souls and lives of everyone. God's Goal is to redeem man from Satans goals. Because we have free will, God will not force us to believe in Him and accept His Gift He has for us/mankind. No other religion offers salvation by faith. Every other religion offers salvation by works, being good, doing good, yet Jesus offers us salvation by faith in Him.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 that salvation by faith includes works. You do works because you have faith. There's no one that is written about in the bible that paid taxes and went along with the norms of society. Some christians even think that God wants you to suffer. Then what does Satan want? peace and equality? Then I'm not sure what God is.

@carpentersdaughter2 Just like your video, Not everyone who believe in Jesus will go to heaven. @hellobil There is no elorbation on this. After reading the gospels you will see that Jesus pays for the price of our sins for us. God will not force us to take this gift of forgiveness. It is up to us whether or not we want to be forgiven.

carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 That’s right, that’s the point that I am trying to make all along. It is to live a life of Jesus. He set a “model” answer to our moral standard, our value of life and so forth. So if we practice that, we leave sin and enter saint. I can live with that. But I cannot see that God is owned by the Christian, or its believer. Any one who live a life of the “Jesus type” would led to a state of “ Eternal Mystical Optimism “.
hellobil 1 month ago
@hellobil If you look around you and if you have studied history at all, you will see that living the life of Jesus is impossible. The Bible says that Jesus was without sin and led a perfect life... no one can do that unless they are God like Jesus.
So if anyone relies on living a life like Jesus, they will soon see they fall short of this perfect life.
I hope you will see that this perfect life of Jesus can cover your sins and set you free from the coming punishment.

Ma'am, I will not quarrel with you over this issue. If necessary we will agree to differ, but i will not move on this one.
we are to abide in him, not by forced works but by faith. if we do not we are thrown out and burned. IOW abide in him
the issue is personal relationship with Him by His Spirit. without that we are backslidden. OSAS trusts not a person but a doctrinal plank.
can you see the difference?
I would be amicable but i will not yield on this matter. it is TOO serious
Strefanasha 1 month ago

Help4uNow 1 month ago
@Help4uNow I would be so rich if I got a nickel for every person who has a gospel of conditional salvation. This problem is much bigger and worse then what I ever thought it was. I'm so use to sharing with Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses and moonies, but never ever thought that I would be speaking to so many so called Beleivers relying on their works for salvation, rather then Jesus...It's just to, to sad to see this.
God bless you my friend,
Linda

@carpentersdaughter2 Mormons have used these same verse against others to support their bondage in the law. They use the law instead of Jesus.

This has always been one of the most frightening passages in scripture to me.
eternalwolf777 1 month ago
@eternalwolf777 Yeah, I know what you mean. It's meant for us to examine ourselves and be sure we are in the faith. Just as Paul tells the Corinthians so take time out to examine themselve to see if they are in the faith or not....While we have eternal security, it doesn't hurt to stop and examine ourselves to make sure that we are in the faith.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 Yeah... it certainly makes me want to reflect a little. Still, in the end it leaves me with a shudder. None of us is perfect... ultimately we all depend on His mercy and sacrifice. It's all any of us can put our hope in.
eternalwolf777 1 month ago
@eternalwolf777 I understand how you feel. I praise God so much for His promise of eternal security. I know my works wouldn't pass for much and I wouldn't even try to say in the same sentence that my works are equal with the sacrifice that Jesus did for me.
We all walk this walk trembling at times, and yet with great peace, knowing my life is in His hands and what's He's promised to us.
God bless
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@eternalwolf777 This passage of scripture should not be applied to eternal security doctrine. The passage isn't about whose really saved and who isn't.This is kingdom teaching which is only applicable to those who are saved. Those who say "Lord, Lord" are saved. Entering into the kingdom is not about going to heaven. This is about the right to rule and reign with the Lord in the next age to come. Hebrews 2:5 It will be frightening to some believers who will not be allowed to reign with the Lord.
Terry8150 1 month ago

Continued.
420dirtnap 1 month ago

SmallSojourner 1 month ago
@SmallSojourner If you are speaking of obeying the law for salvation, that is what's nailed to the cross along with our sins. We no longer obey to be saved but we obey because we ARE saved. Our works are because we are in the vine which is Jesus Christ, and apart from Him, we can not produce any fruit.
If you say we have to obey the law for salvation, then I hope you can live by all 600 laws that were given to the jews to keep. Do you keep all the laws?
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
Jesus said not one jot of the law has changed, he said to be wiser then scribes and sadducees. Therefore most do not see him at all. Jesus said that lucifer was the spiritual ruler of this world, and that this is not his world. Lucifer is the sun, worshipped on sunday, God's day has always been the Sabbath. His mercy is great, but his commandments and laws are literally set in stone.
Phairaodoxiseonix 2 months ago

Phairaodoxiseonix 2 months ago
Mat 7:21 is speaking to the false prophets and uncomitted Christians. "He who does the Will of my Father." Those who keep God's commandments; not because of works but because they love the Lord with all their heart and soul. Totally committed. There is a difference "keeping" God's commandments and living holy for Him, and living by works. People often confuse these two things. Repentance of sin, as God does ask us to do. These are the people committed to God.

@MamasitaDeVegas How many times do you think a person need to repent to be saved?
carpentersdaughter2 2 months ago
@carpentersdaughter 2 Revelation 2:5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Revelation 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.

@MamasitaDeVegas So everytime a Christian sins, they lose their salvation???
carpentersdaughter2 2 months ago
@carpentersdaughter2 No! Salvation and repentance are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ISSUES! This is where confusion comes in. F.Prophets preached "The blood of Jesus covers all your sins." This is true, but...it applies to one when they become born again. All your sins are washed away! AFTER one receives their salvation, one works to become holy, as Jesus instructed us to do. @MamasitaDeVegas I was asking you that to see where you are, not that I have questions on Salvation. I believe I am grounded in the Word of God when it comes to salvation. I just wasn't sure where you are at.
If I had questions, I wouldn't have asked what you think on this topic.
Your first comment sounded like everytime a person sins they lose their salvaiton, so that's why I asked.
carpentersdaughter2 2 months ago
@carpentersdaughter2 When I upload my series on Witchcraft, you can see where I am, as you put it. No a person doesn't lose their salvation. I'll tell where you are at. with your "IF I HAD QUESTIONS....." You're at the rebellious spirit, pharisee stage. Blessings.
MamasitaDeVegas 2 months ago
@MamasitaDeVegas Why are you so hostile, I was only asking where you were at on Salvation because of the way you made your comment. It sounded like you believe that salvation can be lost, and so I was just asking.
Why do you get so angry over this? So I have a rebellious spirit and a pharisee for asking?
WOW, and SAD.
carpentersdaughter2 2 months ago
@carpentersdaughter2 I am sure you mean well CD2. However, I don't have time for mind games & I believe that is what you do. I simply don't care to participate in your drama. With that said, one does not lose their salvation. However, many will FORFEIT their salvation in the end times. Many Christians will take the mark of the beast to survive during those times. They will be angry because God left them behind. I hope this is clear. Don't like to repeat myself. Your call. Info on my website.
MamasitaDeVegas 1 month ago
@MamasitaDeVegas Forefeit, lose, it's the same thing at the end. When one says salvation can be lost or forfeited, then one is limiting what Jesus has done at the cross and putting the credit on themselves of the works they do.
To think that your lousy works is greater then the blood of Jesus is nothing more then blasphemy.
As for those supposed Believers taking the mark, you don't put much stock in the power of the Holy Spirit to give us when we will need at that time.
continued
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 Forefeit & lose are not defined the same. It has nothing to do with limiting Jesus. What bible are YOU reading? God gave us FREE WILL. My "lousy works?" Such hostility...You are so twisting scripture & God's word to conform to your opinion. You are so confused. When Christians are LEFT BEHIND dear, there won't be a Holy Spirit on earth. He will be gone with the Bride of Christ in the Rapture. You don't speak for me, thank God.
MamasitaDeVegas 1 month ago
@MamasitaDeVegas The point is you are promoting a gospel of works, and if you don't like my word, lousy works, then so be it. Your works can't even come close to what Jesus did at the cross for us, yet you want me and others to think that our salvation is being held on by works...
I am not confused. I know that a true Believer has God's Promises of salvation. It is a promise of God and we are in His Hands, not our works.
Those who believe and promote a gospel of works are lost, still.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 No one is promoting a "works" gospel! You don't know so don't pretend you know what I stand for. I've not said anything not in scripture. Who is talking about salvation? Not me. You're hung up on one topic. There are more topics in the bible. God commands us to be holy, walk in His commandments. If those are "works" then so be it. God said it. It is written. No unholy thing (works, behavior) will enter into the kingdom of God. His words. You're wrong.
MamasitaDeVegas 1 month ago
@MamasitaDeVegas I can only respond to the words you put in these boxes, and so far, you've made it clear that one can lose salvation, that salvation is kept by doing the laws and living as good as possible.
This is not the gospel of Grace as Paul teaches, Study Ephesians 2 where Paul goes into salvation, that is is a gift from God,, and it is not of works so NO MAN can boast. There's onlyy one tru gospel and it's the gospel of Grace and Mercy,
Salvation can NOT be lost.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 beleving that salvation can be rejected by those born again is not a gospel of works. indeed trying to keep salvation by good works and law is proof of already having forsaken christ and such a person, in quenching the Spirit, may eventauly blaspheme the Spirit. can those borngain do so? hebrews 6:4 is most explicit. we stay saved by staying with the PERSON who is the Holy Spirit of Christ. reject the PERSON often enough and we will be lost. OSAS is a false security
Strefanasha 1 month ago

The gospel of works is blashpemy!
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 you raise 3 points, i agree with two. advocating law to remain saved is to fall from grace, as you say. and yes, when a beliuever falls away to a cetain extent it is indeed impossible for him to return. that is why i take this passage so seriously. But Hebrews 5 speaks of those who have been enlightened, who have tasted of the power to be come. only true born agains can do this, the other not, so OSAS is false.
only christians can be enlightened so they can be lost
Strefanasha 1 month ago
@Strefanasha Hebrews 6 is very clear that there were some coming into the church, they were tasting the spiritual gifts, they were enlightened, which means, they were given the truth of who Jesus christ is, and yet, these people, went outside of Jerusalem, spit on the ground, stomped on the name of Jesus...they were never ever true believers and that is what the aurhor is teaching here. There is no forgiveness of sins for them...Their big problem was they were in name only...continued
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago

they never were born again into Christ. A true Believer doesn't get treated this way by the Father. We have eternal security, that is God's promise to us, but when a Believer is doing some bad things, God will give their bodies over tor the destruction of the flesh, so the Spirit will be SAVED...get that, saved. No one gets unsaved. God will punish them and rightly so.So to blaspheme God and say He will let us go if we sin, is nothing less then blasphemy.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@carpentersdaughter2 These are not my words alone CD2. It is written. Rev. 21:7 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things,[d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,[e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” This is the Gospel of John given to him by God. The bible is not about Paul. One must walk the talk.
MamasitaDeVegas 1 month ago
@MamasitaDeVegas You speak of truth, but yet you deny that salvation is of Christ alone. You want to add works to your salvation, go right ahead, I can't stop that. I can pity you though for thinking that you put so much value on to your works. Only Jesus can save us, and our filthy rags of self rightousness will not keep us saved.
Only Jesus can save us, and by adding works to salvation is nothing less then blasphemy. I pity you because you think so highly of yourself, rather then christ.
carpentersdaughter2 1 month ago
@MamasitaDeVegas Forfeit, lose, it's the same in the end. to say that a true Believer can lose/forefeit salvation is to say that the blood of Jesus just isn't quite good enough to keep us saved, but boy, our good works sure do keep us saved...BUNK!
As for those Believer you say will take the mark, well, let's just say that you don't give much power to the Holy Spirit for giving us what is needed in time of trouble. What if the early church Believers said this?..
continued

I mean, they were eaten by Lions, set on fire, and yet, more souls came to Christ during this time. Don't you think that the Holy Spirit give them/us what is needed at that time to endure? so, saying Believers will take the mark is bunk.
The Tare church which is growing like weeds will give in but not the true Believer. And if you think you are stong enough to endure the torchure, think again, because just as salvaiton is from God, so is His power to endure what lies ahead for us.

@carpentersdaughter2:
(1. john 2, 1-2)
fsdfmsbcxx 2 months ago
@fsdfmsbcxx Yes, God's Word teaches that only once does a person come to Christ for salvation. We repent when we sin because sin causes our fellowship with God to be cut off and until we acknowledge that we've sinned, our fellowship with God is in danger. The loss of salvation doesn't happen when we sin, otherwise, we would be constantly be getting a new life in Christ.
Thank you for sharing what John taught.

In Paleo time, there must be people who don't get to read bible, where did those soul they went?
hellobil 2 months ago
@hellobil It's not my suggestion that those who practice other religions will be seperated from God, but God's Word says it. I am repeating what God has said in His Word, the Bible.
The bible is clear that God has written His Laws on every man's heat, and when they stand at the Great White Throne Judgement, they will be judged on how they lived their life if they never ever heard of the Gospel, or even the Bible. God is just and fair, and these people will be judged....
