We can't have as many football games because a team would be left with 5-10 healthy players after 82 games. This shows how brutal the NFL is in comparison to hockey.

Hockey. There's a reason hockey players are some of the most aggressive naturally.. Imagine wearing thin pads avoiding other dudes going 30-35 mph, with a surface as hard as cement below your feet, with a possibility of getting hit by a puck going 80-100+ mph WITH the possibility of getting SLAMMED into the boards or open ice. Also, the hockey season is much longer and much more grueling.
