Why the fuck would Alfred use guns? Guns kill. Batman would kick Alfred off of the team if he used a gun. Why the fuck would Alfred use guns? Guns kill. Batman would kick Alfred off of the team if he used a gun. It's also pretty useless to have a sword if you aren't going to be inflicting mortal injuries. That's why batman uses his fists and gadgets. of course he could do his job easier with a machine gun, but that's not how he does it.

when i heard a new batman series was announced, i had a hope in the back of my head they'd make a new series BTAS or Beyond, but i knew that was unlikely, but i didn't think they were gonna make this complete and utter horse s**t where Bats looks like he's had half his head cut off, his new foe looks completely stupid and Alfred (everyone's favourite butler) is carrying guns, it's bad enough that we can't get the rest of BTAS or any of Beyond in the uk on DVD but we get this on tv, not fair

i think before we all start talking trash on BTB, lets give it a chance. it obviously looks different to the rest of the Batman shows, but we should just wait and see what kind of show it is before we star trashing it, remember when Beyond debuted and everyone thought the idea of a teenage batman was lame? back on the debut it was braced with open arms and it was awesome! plus i do agree when he said that theirs too many Joker stories, i love the joker, but i would love to see different villains

Brave and the Bold was based on Silver-Age Batman, and wasn't afraid to sacrifice seriousness for awesomeness. And it worked. It wasn't just rehashing TAS.
