Amanda better not be dead. She was almost as cool as Lara herself. Besides if Lara was so cold hearted to leave Amanda behind, why would she free her doppleganger at the end of Lara's Shadow and allow her to live. It makes more sense this way. This way Amanda can still come back.(Crossed fingers)

Underworld was diseaster, not a cliffhanger. Probably the worst Tomb Raider ever made. Nice graphic is not enough to create good game. Not to mention that Crystal Dynamics messed with classic TR1 and re-use Natla, best of Lara's enemies (not counting Sophia from TR3 - she's above any clasification xD) in their own, stupid, American way.

In Legend Amanda held a grudge against Lara that she left Amanda 'for certain death' in that temple in Paraiso. Since Lara didn't know that Amanda managed to survive, she didn't want to dig as it was kind of commemorative place. Now if Amanda ever show up again she will even more hate Lara that she left her daying in Nepal but this time she really deserved it!!!

Don't like it as much as the normal ending, to be honest. Amanda was a bit of a useless villain in Legend, and I'd have gladly seen her killed at the end. In Underworld, her role was much more defined, and I liked her a lot more.

Finally the Lara I know comes back. Since Tomb Raider Legend Lara really became soft, but before that Lara certainly did stuff like this before. She was way more aggressive in TRAOD. I missed that.

Amanda never touched Lara's mum, I dn't think they ever met.

The doppelganger killed Alister, and Amanda never instructed it to do that - Amanda's never killed, or attempted to kill anyone, apart from this scene, though it was cut so it hardly counts.

Lara didn't directly kill her, she left her all alone in freezing conditions with a broken leg that is probably bleeding loads.

It'd been nicer if Lara shot her twice, so as to end the pain, Amanda suffers quite a slow and painful death.
