Another great and informative video - thank you for sharing the stories of these lovely big dogs with us - hopefully they will all find the perfect homes suited to their needs and can live full and happy lives in the future. The last two that came in - what a shame such lovely dogs were dumped and one of them doesn't look all that young any more, but I am sure you will see them right - keep on with your great work.
Amazing work you do for these collies. I love collies sooo much and I cant understand how anyone can abandoned their dog like those collies at the end. The collie that was mainly white looks alot like my Sheena! I hope they all find loving new forever homes. I would love to work at a rescue like BorderCollieRescueUK because I want to help dogs so much. Brilliant video! 5/5 and favs! :)
Sam is really willing and in the few days he has been here he has learned a lot. They are all nice dogs, but most are - people ruin them!
Even the idea of dumping a dog that is dependent on me makes me feel unsettled. Can't understand why people can be so self centred and offhand with their companions.
Why take them on if you are not determined to see it through.
Mind you - it's easy to judge - we don't know the circumstances - but the outcome for the dogs could have been different.
Yes, a merle, but a FULL merle - black, white and tan - what is known as a natural merle, not deliberately bred for the markings by people trying to exploit a market and get a better price for their pups.
He's a nice dog. Means well but lacks manners and social graces. Bit like me really - just more freindly and less likely to bite.
Wow.. finally large border collies. My pup is around the same size. The only border collie I ever knew that was that large.

Hi Alibatch,
Thanks for the comment.
Yes, Sam was re-homed to a range warden and spends his days out and about on several thousand acres of Yorkshire fells.
He has been back to visit a couple of times so we keep in touch.

You speak truly - offhand sums it up - I used the word myself in an earlier reply.
Glad you enjoyed the film. Lovely dogs and lucky us. We get to meet them!

Yup, hands full all right.

You have a point - we could be earning revenue here.
We do use a lot of the stuff and it does seem to work.
Everyday someone here will be talking about the stuff and we never even thought about that aspect coming through on a video.
Well spotted - or was it that obvious to everyone else.
Someone send a copy of the vid to the company and ask for a donation!

Sam is HUGE!!! Even to American Border Collie standards! WOW! Even the last two boys are TALL...look at them legs!!
Such a sad story for the last two...I hope they find a good home.
So happy the 5 dogs found their way to you guys, your work is amazing :)

They are all huge and your right about the last two, their owners did not care at all.
They will be fine - need to slim down a bit and get some more muscle on their bones. Not a problem. Legs will look even longer then!
Best thing is they are such good natured dogs and we hope we can home them together - mind you they are all good natured.
They will all get good homes, until then they have 10 acres to play in and a few hundred to walk in and us lot to look after them.
