I have difficulty when I curl it outward, the curls become weird. It doesn't form an outward curl but a straight hair instead. Where did I do wrong? Is it bcos of my layered hair? :/

@JJLiu920 I do use my chi heat protector. My hair doesn't get dry because I do it super fast. If you leave the iron on your hair for too long, it might dry it out and it's not good for your hair. Try to do it quickly and just run the iron down as fast as you can for each strand =)
