I's real impressed wit' her voice...I jes' thinks the pianist was given a bit too much indulgence. The intricate playin' detracts from the simple impact of the lyrics and her voice. Great playin' but not what I'd wanna hear...
I love Sarah Jane Morris! She is a brilliant singer! Wonderful and unique voice!! Some of her songs is part of my life. I wish she could come to Greece for a concert sometime!! You have many fans here too! we love you Sarah! I hope to see you live soon

I listened to this performance twice (on the 21st and 22nd Dec. 2007) in Milan. It was the "Angels at Christmas" show, held inside churches. Astonishing experience! Thank you Sarah.
I could be wrong. I love the song too. I love Nick Cave. He is a great guy to know too, as he has great script writing talents!!

Cave did write the song. Her site credits cave. His version is on the Boatman's Call and later albums.
