  • thanks for sharing friend. i tried it once decided it wouldn't work and haven't thought about it since. im glad i randomly found this.

  • Thanks for pushing out the video!

  • Looks like a good piece of gear if you need it. I've found that by making so much of my own gear, I save hundreds of dollars over a fully bought kit. I really like this sleeping pad/chair, though. I have freinds that love theirs. But it's simply too much money for me. My 16 inchX 48 in childs inflatable mattress, 1 inch deep, is so cheap and comfy, I can't imagine I'll ever go with this chair/pad. Still, it is a quality item. Always the best to ya.

  • Thanks for the great video, I've been a real fan of the Thermarest chair kit with my Thermarest Prolite pads, but recently purchased a Neo Air, and had not tried it in the chair kit. I had heard concerns that since the Neoair is a "chambered" mat, unlike the "internal foam" type of the other Thermarest products, that it might not be as durable for a chair application. I'm going to use mine in that capacity though, and see what the long term results are. Thanks!

  • @upupaepops the only thing you have to deal with is the mat sliding inside the chair kit from left to right slightly because of the pad and chair fabric being so "slippery" its very manageable though.

  • and this is why You Tube is so great....ask and you shall receive! Thanks for the video!

  • @planetadams i agree! its a great medium to see others opinions and review ideas and options
