All nice and well ,but Ronnie was right ,after "I Can't Control Myself"..The Troggs should've sprinkled MORE fairy dust over the fucking bastards.

The Troggs began to lose it fast.

Their hits always had a fair amount of reverb ,but even "I Can't Control Myself"was already a bit of a letdown after "Wild Thing".

That's not to say ,these tracks were'nt good., but they shoul've kept that mighty Andover cave sound.

Tracks like "Give It To Me" should've benefitted well from it. That recording was just too basic.

"Night Of The Long Grass",was again back to form ,but by then, people already had lost interest.

They had a short return to the charts end '67,but then the party was well and truly over,and went straight to the cabaret circuit.

It's ironic that a shite band like "W-W-Wet,gave them renewd interest.

Reg's bank manager didn't care though.
