Two years ago out management prof introduced us to QR codes with a bonus assignment. At first everyone thought it was a BB code and didnt understand why it would not work. After some research I was able to find a program on the internet to scan it and decode it. When we first did that assignment QR codes were fairly new, compared to today we see QR codes on posters, T shirts, Bus and Car Ads, Retail Ads, and in Newspapers. This has created new advertising techniques.
This is very interesting idea of implementing the QR code to the t-shirt, and how it links to the digital content on the web. In the recent years, I see that many companies nowadays are using QR codes to share/link to the intended information due to increasing use of smartphones. Perhaps, in the near future QR code may replace barcode.
Very cool. To be honest I only found out about QR codes this year (bec of MGD415 and also) after seeing so many trending fliers around the school encouraging students to navigate to a certain site. I find that this way, it is a lot easier and faster to connect to a site/file unless you are using an iPhone that requires you to download a specialized ap to scan QR codes.
One of the arguments that supports Android and Symbian as OSs for smart phones is because the QR recognition is native to the software (QR uses metadata tosend to applications on the OS, for example sends a link to a web broweser if QR is a link, opens an image software QR is an image etc.), where as in Apple iOS needs to use an application for it (however, there are many available free of charge).

I tried posting the links to the company websites but apparently YouTube doesn't let you post links in your comments
...that sucks

This is such a clever use of QR codes. I found some online retailers that also sell clothing with QR codes:
Zazzle
DenimCode (QR codes on jeans)
