I LOVE Manba. I've followed the Gangurro's since discovering EGG magazine in1999. I don't get the negative comments on here. Manba is so beautiful and very striking. And totally original. And I LOVE how the look has progressed over time. I think only very creative people can understand it which doesn't say much for the negative posts people have made on here, well boring and dull to say the least. DUMB=BORING! I'm a male 44 year old artist and am so inspired by this movement. MANBA FO LIFE!

I seen a TV show that was brodcasted in the UK called "japanorama" and when describing the ganguro girls (not manba i know, but the ones before) they were said to be going for the cali look. I am just saying what I've heard.
