I met him in 91, we became friend and had lunch on several occasions. HE gave me an autograph, and said i was the first in 26 yrs. He said that on the opening where they ride up, that Hoss had trouble with his horse, being from Texas he knows horses very well (hoss) he got off his horse and the horse head butted him,,, made Hoss mad, so he hauled off and socked the Horse.. from then on the horse did what ever dan (hoss) wanted....FROM Pernell's mouth to my ears....
@TheMainmannc thats funny. somebody once said that when Lorne Greene first got on a horse it started to run and wouldnt slow down so he kept sayin "Whoa, whoa, you son of a b***ch!" (sorry for my language) but when i first heard that i laughed so hard.
Nice work on this. I do think it is better then before, see girl I told you now you can make them better. Keep them coming. I know you have mre in your heart .
