  • Always impressed with your work Mike! Great stuff, just wish we could see more of it, more often ;)

  • @HalfBlindGamer heheh. Thanks man :) If I had more time I'd knock these things out more often. I need to get back on the RWTV forums too. Been so busy lol

  • Well done! It's great to see a video from you again. Can't wait to see what your next project will be.

  • ...And it drops him into Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde.

    You monster.

  • @Alurkerdood Who me? :D lol I didn't even think of that

  • Nice.

  • Another great "respond" video! :D

Yeah, I don't think Simon's Quest was a terrible game, just had some flaws in it and poor sense of direction. It was pretty ahead of it's time I guess...

  • Gotta love your videos. AVGN is pretty sweet.

  • Nice Man!!!

  • Nicely done, gotta love the Nerd.

  • Great AVGN Tribute.

  • @sfighter991 Thanks. It's kinda short and simple, but I didn't want to drag it out.

  • Haha nice video Mike!

  • Castlevania 2 was a great game. Different than the first, but still good for it's time.

  • @interagreed I admit to having a soft spot and fond memories of this game too. It was really flawed and kind of a failed experiment but I still pick it up now and again and give it a good play through. :)

  • @OrinCreed flawed in what way?

I don't view it as a failed experiment, it was one of the first games to have that "sandbox" environment where you can roam freely.

  • @interagreed The game play it's self was fine but things like bogus clues, nonsense dialogue and near impossible to discover tricks made it less than perfect. I was lucky enough to discover the kneeling by the lake and mountain by chance. I didn't have Nintendo power or guides back then to help me out so I woulda be screwed if i didn't exhaust every option to discover those areas. Love it or hate it this is the game that pavedthe way for SotN. :)

  • @OrinCreed the dialogue wasn't garbage, it made sense - it was just badly translated - very common back then.

And having to discover all those esoteric tricks made a man out of you.

  • @interagreed It surely did. If you could figure out those puzzles on your own you had barging rights at school :) Damn those were good times.
