  • Takes me back to Meadowbank stadium. On the same gig were The Silencers and Texas. They played this with the thunder n lightning and the rain falling an awesome start to an awesome concert. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

  • @frankschlanker....me too mate, came straight from Tynecastle, got a fish supper and went up onto Arthurs seast for a wee while looking into the stadium having a few shandies .Then went down in time to see Texas ...i think?? The Silencers supported them loads of times

  • They opened the gigs with this track. They played it behind a big curtain which dropped as they came on stage. It always runs shivers down my spine and a tear to my eye as it reminds me I'm twenty years older now..

  • me too on both counts, took a while to find the name for this tune I knew, had a cassette but not sure where now.

  • I love the sound of Bagpipes!

  • waited a while for this one, cheers mate!!
