@PrettyLittleClaire ummm it's fine actually. you don't give your cat daily meals like you do with dogs. you just always fill up the cat bowl, and this cat, just loves to eat it a lot. chill out.
@Strawberry1139 actually, it's recommended that you DO measure out your cat's food like you would a dog's. a normal, adult male cat should be getting 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup of adult cat food a day. and there are several things you can do with a cat to increase its activity: cat toys on string, laser pointers, cat trees. my professor (a veterinarian) would hide his cats food to increase his activity.
it's dangerous for any animal to be morbidly obese.
@PrettyLittleClaire you can't make the cat, "active". they choose when to go outside and you can't really control what the cat does.
