I tend to think of ayahuasca and other natural consciousness expanders as our version of how the pandoran people from avatar plus into plants consciousness and the natural network with there hair. we just communicate to the plants r the plants to us thruogh chemistry and mind. in a sence the molecules from the plants plug themselves into receptior sites in your brain. creating the different spiritual perceptions of the world and innerts of yourself.
Ayahuasca (say eye-ah-wah-skah) is not a drug! It's a natural code in liquid form used to unlock portals in the human mind and soul. Think of it simply as a plant-based catalyst for reconnecting humans with Source.
are you really discussing semantics in a video about a connection to the spirit world? whether you call it a drug, medicine, substance doesn't matter its the context or intent behind the sound your mouth made that matters
I just realized that I can't happily trip in my own environment. The city is corrupted and saturated in people that don't belong here, my grass my plants and trees have been poisoned with chemicals and the air is also contaminated. This is my home my child hood environment, how can I possibly be happy ever again. My home is destroyed, ruined not to be fixed within a hundred years. The apple tree I grew up with is infested with bugs, it stares at me asking for help. I can't help.
@notsurebud Your a fucking retard... Theres no such thing as evil scientists trying to kill us... Look at weed, is weed a chiemical?? Can you make weed in a lab?? How about tobacco?? How about caffeine?? All drugs, if not, most drugs started out as a plant...

would anybody like to hear the truth about drug use? here is what nobody tells you about it: you might never die from drugs. you might never completely fracture your mind, as some do. but a real tragedy that WILL happen if you keep using is that one day, when you are 40 or 50, you wake up and realize you invested and spent your life on smoke and dreams and all that's left to you is the emptiness of a permenant immaturity, trying to live like a 16 yr old all your life. a shocking desolation.
I took ayahuasca (or yage as its known there) with a shamen in Colombia, and it is absolutely the dogs bollocks - all other drugs pale into insignificance next to the spiritual power of this one. It was a scary experience, but well worth it - and something I will never forget. Seriously, it is the maddest tripping you will ever experience in your life.
I just finished reading a story from peter Gorman's about ayahuasca, I don't know how I get pulled into it but I couldn't stop reading till to the last word and I must say it was interesting. Now this video. The reason I am writing is, on his site he was asked to sing his song and he just sang some and he wrote aaaaaa and stuff, I got up , went to the kitchen to make myself some tea and there I started humming some tune and I am so shocked that what I just had Alan whistley is the same tune OMG
@dangerouswisdom I don't think you should use the world 'drug' in reference to ayahuasca, because it is so general and has connotations attached to it creating all kinds of negative subconscious reactions... it is kind of insulting to ayahuasca to refer to it as a drug... and then you say don't do drugs lol. Substance would be a more appropriate word.. or drink containing a powerful entheogenic natural chemical. We have to be careful and clever in order to get this information out to more people
for the specific regocnition as it arouses typical ignorant comments of others.
But on the other hand, im just confused, I couldnt even start to explain why Ayahuasca or psychedelics in general are to much value.
I only advice the non experienced to just try shrooms. Do NOTE that ayahuasca (exspecially at the higher doses) is not to be compared to shrooms. Its way stronger.
@bretellis though culturally it is considered naive, taboo, and disrespectful to call ayahuasca a "drug", it is far more naive to underestimate ayahuasca..also, it has been found that ayahuasca/DMT has bad counteractions with many antidepressants (what does that say about antidepressants and your pineal gland?)
The conception that a mixture of plants is just a "drug" (and the taken for granted view that anything that comes from "nature" must be good for you) are culturally based. Check out The Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby.
@devinseven11 i dont think its a mix of drugs, but its a mix of something and an emzyne which activates DMT so it can be drunk..hope that makes sense lol
@devinseven11 its a mix of naturally occuring dmt and natrually occuring beta-carbolines, which allows the dmt to become orally effective, otherwise your stomach acids would break down the dmt in seconds, rendering it useless
@devinseven11 Just because it's natural doesn't mean it's not bad for you, vomiting not being able to eat and dehytrating is very dangerous. To say that something like this is not bad for you is extremely ignorant, mushrooms have an extremely low toxicity level but that doesn't mean you should do as much as you possibly can. I don't think your ready for anything if you think natural means safe. Cocaine is natural, pure cocaine will kill you.
@devinseven11 yes but it's safer than pharmaceutical drugs...scientists strip away the nature of a drug and isolate the specific chemical to make it more potent...a good example of why this is a bad thing is cocaine, it's a great drug to pick you up when you're just chewing the leaves, but isolate it and snort it/smoke it, and it affects your brain chemistry way more than it would in a natural dose, so it throws your chemical balance off and even hinders the brains ability to create chemicals!
@devinseven11 all drugs activate chemicals that your brain already possesses, the only side effect i see from extreme doses over long periods for this is insomnia, but there is no proof that DMT has a physical addiction, unlike pain killers where your brain can't produce its own chemicals and relies on you to feed it those chemicals....from what i've seen and heard this drug awakens you to life, you don't get addicted to it...plus fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, this reverses the damage!
@devinseven11 i never said it heals it, it just makes it more active....when it is calcified it messes with your melatonin cycle, and it can cause a shorter REM cycle.
@devinseven11 it's just as healing as a raw diet, my moms friend had cancer, he was on the raw diet and the cancer vanished(it was the earliest stage of cancer though) if you are consistent with a healthy diet eventually your body will be its own healer, the human body is a magical thing, everything behaves like one cell, so it takes one weak cell to create a chain effect...so DMT is just a way for your own healing process to kickstart, this is why people feel alive for the first time after DMT!
@devinseven11 we are so unhealthy, not just the artificiality of everything we consume, but there is no natural amount of nutrition in our food....and with all the chemicals and toxins that get in the air, food, and water, it's not so hard to believe that we have lost our healing potential, our species is a gift to nature, our intelligence is here so we can influence and strengthen nature, instead we have misused that divine purpose and forgot all about it, nor do we even care anymore!
@devinseven11 Technically sugar is a drug. As is caffeine. Not all drugs are bad for you. At the appropriate dose, setting, and toxicology considered, all drugs are safe. At the appropriate dose water will kill you just as quick as jumping off a building. Just know as much as you possibly can about something in life before jumping head first into a shallow pool. Remember you can change your state of mind by a simple fleeting thought. Your mind is always in a state of change. Perspective gained
@devinseven11 its main active ingredients are usually harmine(common MAOI) and dimethyltriptamine(DMT). in order for dmt to be active orally it requires an Monoamine oxidase inhibitor(MAOI), and with the two combined in the drink, you will trip hard for hours. yes it is a drug, but dmt is naturally produced and released in your brain frequently(dreams, and when you die its what said cause "near death experiences" becuase ur body releases it cuz it thinks ur dead, so people say they see god)
@devinseven11 just because its made of plants doesn't mean it's not bad for you. castor beans come from a plant and will kill the shit outta you. But yes, the ingredients in ayahuasca and their admixtures are extremely safe.
@devinseven11 It's a mixture of two or more plants, one of them contains DMT and creates the visions, it can heal people physically and mentally, combined with strict vasting and abstaining from sex for 2 weeks before and after you get the best results. It isn't completely safe cause in some people it can trigger a certain psychosis, but if you have a good shaman he will guide you trough it and get you out of it, the shaman can make you go to hell or heaven , he has that power, it's ineffable.
@devinseven11 I don't understand why this comment received so many negative votes. It's not really anything more than semantics, is it? Medicine or drug; doesn't matter what you call it, it's all about your intentions and what you hope to receive from it and what you're willing to sacrifice for it. People need to relax their egos and accept that the way they see things isn't necessarily another person's reality.

I really get confused on the "drug" kind of thing.
Im my country drugs is only reffered to illegal chemical substances.
But in the USA, all chemical substances (at a pharmacy for example) is defined as drugs.
And factually, a chemical altering your consciousness is a drug, whether its a sacred drug like ayahuasca or methamphetamine.
Since society considers "drugs" as the illegal substances I do share your blame for reffering ayahuasca for drugs as other people can only labe it bad

did you ever hear of cocain or fly agaric?...they're made from plant or actually are plants aswell, and they're extremely bad for you ;)
and ayahuasca is not a mix of drugs, but dmt combined with so called "monoamine oxidase inhibitors" who prevent the breakdown of DMT in your body.
otherwise there would be little to no effect if you consume dmt oraly.
i don't know how the word "drug" is defined...i'd call it a potent hallucinogen. THE fuckin hallucinogen!
