Well done to Safer Medicines Trust. It is high time that medical research is brought into a new era. The drug industry is too complacent, its priority is to make profits for its shareholders and not to look into ethics of the drugs it manufactures. Far too many people have been maimed and killed by drugs placed into the market irresponsibly, unethically, with the purpose of filling up the shareholders pockets. The Safer Medicines is all for bringing ethics into medical research, pls support it!
Tonight, the 26th July, on BBC News at Ten, we were told that one in ten experiments on primates is useless. Many of us know that that figure is preposterous. They claimed that the polio vaccine was discovered through testing on primates and also that Parkinson's has been helped through monkey experiments. Both are a lie. On this video the LibDem scientist claimed that testing on animals has been helpful in many cases. Again - not true. Please put out another video refuting the report.
