such a good intro if the guy wouldn't have scrolled through the dial. he should have fire a couple of solo shots then a burst so people can get an idea of the sound and speed of the camera.

They keep UPGRADING the DESIGN and some features (iso etc) but they never add NEW features that add functionality. People say they don't care about the video function, but they care more about extra buttons that have been added and things that have been upgraded. While those things are nice, they don't compare to new functionality on cameras. Cameras all so limited, but they shouldn't be. I made a big list on why all cameras (specifically the D300s) suck, look at it if you want.
@glennunez18 I actually had a D90 and a D3 together. I sold both of them to get this D3s and having a kind of "all in one" (video, sensor cleaning, FX etc). The differences with a D90 are not extremely huge at 200 ISO (if equiped with a good lens). The D3s had a better dynamic, but nothing that will change your life. D3s shows all his potential from 640 ISO where it's a pure monster. And of course, the shooting comfort is wonderful. D3s is not hugely different from D3, go for it, if you can!
@WhiteyRavensTH Thanks for the info! I shoot mostly in studio so i usually operate at ISO 100. D90 would work for me! In my short term as a photographer I have come to learn that great shots usually have to do with the quality of the lens... Thanks for you time...
@glennunez18 Be careful mate, D90 does not own 100 ISO as native sensitivity. I mean, you can get an equivalent (L 1.0), but it's absolutely not the same kind of "ISO". It's actually an internal software which manages the body and creates itself a "100 ISO". The only "modern" Nikon's body with a 100 ISO as native sensitivity is the D3x. But D90 is absolutely great, i always recommand it since it produces amazing pictures for a very acceptable price tag :-)
I have the D3s, Completely untrue however that the user has "umm no... [control]" when it comes to shutter speed in video mode. I have had mixed luck, however i am able to control the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO both before and while recording video
Excellent piece of equipment. I guess I'm in the minority, I don't give a toss about video from a DSLR. I know it matters to some but I'd be perfectly happy if they left it out. That is never something that will make or break a decision to buy an SLR for me
I agree with mirtaet123, the D700 and D3s are awesome cameras but they are way to expensive, especially the D3x. It's only a matter of time that Nikon or Canon release a full frame sensor camera below $1000.
This is wonderful.

I don't care about video. But I like hi ISO. Nikon is good DSLR and I don't care if it's not so good camcorder.

Thanks for the Video ! I am hoping that Nikon are planning on making a more substantial battery door catch !
