  • 1:58 did he say this is a cup holder?

  • I think antec is missing the point that clean dust free computer components are happy components..another instance of over education, with no common sense.

It does look radical though...5 stars for design 0 stars for practicality

  • @Greenmarine6 since the 250mm fan is pushing the air over and out there is little to no dust problem

  • lol'd when he said don't need cpu coolin LOL srsly -.-' stupid, most cpus wont even work without cooling dude

  • hey.. you guys should make it portable, like a backpack.. that would be cool

  • loudsy ....

  • ok. ok?

  • Wow....this case is useless. You would have to dust it almost everyday to stop the dust from settling on the parts.

Like "h1wayman" said, "This case belongs in a glass cage somewhere in an exhibit hall."

  • did he just say, cpu fan isn't required?!

  • he said insurration

    1:05

  • wtf is Brrruuu light

  • Damn I want this case too bad I have 2 cats kind of dangerous when Im gone orsomething...

  • Okay what else?

  • Okay!! nice and simple!

  • whatever happened to video cameras with motion and vibration compensation, I thought they came out in the mid 90's. Is it everyone is so lazy they just record on their iphone or something??

  • Stop saying okay.....

  • okey

  • Indeed it's risky to have this kind of case. Even a small piece of paper clip can short your motherboard. This case is for people who are careful with it, and who is in need of a really good airflow (250mm fan)

  • Dust is inevitable whether it's open or closed.

This is actually better as it is open and more airflow

  • what if you drop your drink on it>?

  • pretty cool, but my first thought is - DUST!

  • i was thinking exactley the same xD

  • and insects

  • Cool, but not worth $150, especially when it's over 50% plastic.

  • Great ok!? *****

  • Check out my workstation setup with my Antec Skeleton case. I quite like it!

    geek2god(dot)com/2009/04/multi-screen-monitor-display-computer-workstation-setup/

  • Will this take a Zotac Geforce 9300 Mini-Itx board and the 16x PCI express graphics card? Are there any restrictions the the size and power of the card you can use?

  • This case doesn't attract that much dust. It comes with a plastic cover in the packaging that you can cover it up when you're done for the night. It does surprisingly well. Not to mention how easy it is to spray the parts down with canned air. Most computers get this maybe once a year and collect tons of dust cuz they're put on the floor in the corner.

  • Wouldn't this case get real dusty?

  • well with the fan on top not much is getting on it...

  • OK MAN

  • im not gonna lie i saw it in person and i like it

  • mmm I smell a lot of hate in the air how about you? Got to love how somehow these conversations on youtube comments just go way off topic from what the video is even about.

  • I didn't even know they came out with the mini one...couldn't see that being too useful the mini that is seeing I'm not into the tiny form factors. I'd much rather have a normal case since this must attract dust like no other.

  • Would not recommend these for LAN events, if you're a gamer. So many idiots would either try to steal or break something inside of the case.

  • Interesting Case. I think this would be better as a testing case, but free form cases could be a nice new concept of the future.

Unless this case is in an A/C environment, it could get very hot.

  • This is really nice I guess, but its priced wayyyyyy too high, I have no clue why its so expensive, I mean less material is being used right?? it costs $190(CAD).. too expensive..

  • correct...hahaha...u could get a coolermaster haf, cosmo, or the new sniper with that kind of money...hahaha

  • Ok!

  • Try speaking japenese or chinese then. At least he knows more than 1 language u tard

  • Are you fucking kidding me you stupid fuck, a language is made for communication. You understood him and still complained. You can't be more stupid than that.

  • dude'' some people looking for a casing with dust filter and this one is so open that ''suck ''

  • why post the same shit question on loads of videos u fag! get a life!!!

  • why search crysis vids if u think ur some pro cunt with a mad pc,

from what i've seen YOU HAVE NO LIFE you go around paying out ppl in Crysis vids... seriously whats worse?

wondering about your pc performance or spamming hate?

    fuck off and go die

  • ive seen the same post by u on a few vids, why ask that question all the time?? i'll answer ur question for you, for that kinda setup i would go for at least 800watts! more if possible... and i dont think there was any need for, why search crysis vids if u think ur some pro cunt with a mad pc, from what i've seen YOU HAVE NO LIFE you go around paying out ppl in Crysis vids... seriously whats worse? wondering about your pc performance or spamming hate? fuck off and go die!!!!

  • wtf you took what i said and put a faggot spin on it fuck off kid ur shit u cant afford a good pc just /gquit

  • Why not just hold your rig together with duct-tape and stick it to a desktop fan?

  • im with u ! xD

  • this guy must get all the ladies

  • Einstien got pussy all the time

  • NVM XD

  • where does the disc drive go to?

  • "Yu hawve a contwowler to change the fan cower."

  • ROFL

  • @zimtower lol at least he can speak more than 1 language nub

  • @p123erson You like my balls nub.

  • Why bother having a case?

  • to hold the parts together, for the sake of convenience...also to cool it with a fan.

  • to help prevent shorts.. shorts = BAD

  • It's green because it only uses one fan... lol

  • i cant find the smaller on the mini skeleton! can anyone help me?

  • newegg. com

    they only have the mini

  • I can see some serious dusting coming on

  • yeah I was just thinking that

  • true but i HAD a Dell XPS 410 for about 1 year, and it was black when i opened it.

  • My thoughts exactly

  • Yes as they say "one man's freedom fighter case is another man's terrorist case!!" O:o

  • its ugly

  • To each his own.

  • Skeleton are designed mostly for extreme overclocker.

  • yea i figured that out xD i can play cod5 on highest settings with my graph cards fan off o.O its nuts ^^

  • thats very bad for the grafik card because wehn you play crysis or cod 5 and you make your grafiks fan at 100% ALLL DUST come in the grafik card and anytime the grafik card make BOOM and its damged very very baad... this "case" sucks... its not a case its open xD

  • :D :D Green it ? It needs 1 Fan...so its very green lol

  • At 2:00 does he say this is a cup holder.

    Lol.

  • haha yes xD

  • lmao CARD holder. To hold the CARDS.

  • hey thats my powersupply!

  • what about dust? cuz thats a killer

  • wow.. 16 OK's in 5 minutes! :D

  • ok ok ok ok ok mate its ooooookkkkk ...

ohh OK! sooo alll its OKey

  • OK :)

  • i dont think heatsink is a good setup with this case .. look at the miniskeleton 1:05 the heatsink and that huge fan are not trowing air at the same direction .. this case will go xcelent with liquid cooling.. im lookin forward to buy it for my girl...

  • STOP SAYING OK! FFS

  • Aww, how cute the little one are :D

  • what size motherboard does the mini one take?

  • lol a mini ATX maybe..... Do'h

  • They forgot to mentioned the you have to removed PCI support bar enable to remove the motherboard tray.

  • also makes good for a spcace heater.

  • ok.....

  • damn niec

  • not very cheap lol 175$ on newegg

  • He says no need for a heatsync? Hrrrm...

  • yea that sounds a little odd, seeming how cpu's heat up faster than a stove element. Maybe he means those big heatsinks with no fan.

  • What kind of heatsinks do you guys use? Are there any issues with fitting large heatsinks like the thermalright ultra 120 extreme?

  • that look like toilet bowl u moron idiot!!

  • is there any chance the asus en9800gt hybridpower 512 video card would fit into the mini ?

and das the power cord realy reach well ?

  • Yeah...I have a 9800GX2 in mine.

    Fits perfectly.

  • Does anyone know if the ATX one supports MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARDS? THANKS.

  • well of course.. if it's atx why wouldnt it support a smaller motherboard?

  • "it's very good for the environment" LOL.

  • Anyone here own one of these as yet? If so , Did you have any problem with the "Quick Release"?

I found both optical & Hard drives had to be secured by screws as my quick release does'nt serve its intented purpose....basically it's non-functional.

Pretty happy with the set up though.

As for the fan noise...It's not loud at all

  • that is a pee room not computer!! gracia 4 what!!

  • lol how is it green.... uuuhhh it only has 1 fan :)... all the rest use more thats why its green

  • Got these on sale @ my local pc store and they're retailing for $280 Australian.

I'll most likely be getting one of these but not until I see one with all cables /wiring attached as I'm somewhat uncomfortable with the positioning of the PSU.

  • maaan I soooo want this!

and about the dust problem...canned air?

  • man the micro-atx version of this case came out on newegg the other day and it's pretty damn pricey at $180 :/

  • you know what im thinking??

im gonna take pictures of antec skeleton

ill build my own antec skeleton... and buy the push power and reset button at the radio store... cut my own steel and weild it

and wallah i got my new antec skeleton

  • Will most definitely be getting one of these! The thing most of you don't seem to appreciate is that it is not marketed as a regular computer case, but more of a test chassis. Having said that, I will be using it to display my old (X6800, 8gb OCZ Reaper, 8800GTX OC2 768mb, 2x Raptor X HDD's, Audigy 2zs Platinum) gaming rig, and I won't be pulling it apart every five minutes.

  • dust magnet!

  • was antec on crack that day oh lets make a fuckin computer that looks ugly AND FUCKIN SUCKS HEWS WITH ME AND EVERYONE IN THE HOWL FUCKIN ROOM WAS HIGH AND THEY WHERE LIKE MAKIN A FUCKIN PIECE OF SHIT IS A GOOD IDEA LETS LOOSE LOTS OF FUCKIN MONEY AND LETS LOOK FUCKIN STUPID WHILE DOIN IT

  • fucking uneducated prick, funny how you showed your ignorance and stupidity while being a hypocrite all under one long run-in sentence

its a fucking prototype, its made for enthusiasts who pull stuff out every 10mins or so while OC'ing and turning their CPU's into ovens.. give it a year or so and other companies will incorporate big open covers or replace hard walls with filters

seriously, you just made yourself look like a fucking idiot

  • funny i might buy one :D

  • It's his statement about Green IT, which convinced me that I definitely have to buy this thing. "this use one fan so this is very green. U don't use those lousy things so is very quiet so is very good for the environment". Could you need any more information?

  • id like it more if it had removable plexi glass windows or something to be able to cover it with

  • Won't dust get on the board?

  • Won't dust get on the board ,you ask?

With a fan that big and the case being pretty much open , I'd say most of the dust will get blown out, unlike your usual pc where the dust just gets blown around inside the case most of the time.

  • I guess you're right. Only other thing I was worried about was bugs getting in there.

  • I'd be more worried about little kiddies putting their fingers all over it, cat hair, dog hair, static etc. Or someone who just wants to be a pain in the ass and cut some wires with scissors or disconnect all the wires.

  • Green it lol...ummm well it has a very big fan sooo....hmmmm )_) It reduces noise pollution.

  • This is NOT for bench testing. Test benches don't have/need LEDs or something resembling an attempt at industrial design.

    ZOMGZ FUCKING RETARDZ WOW

  • LOL, this is just for testing components, used as a workbench not for enthusiast users, for that use something more classic!

  • What is the basic purpose of a computer-case?

    1) PROTECT the stuff that's inside.

    2) KEEP DUST OUT

    3) all of this while keeping the system cool

This thing fails 2 out of 3.

This system is going to give many people many things to worry about.

  • 1. enclosed case gathers more dust than an open one because open environment keep the air moving

    2. exactly what do you keep in your room that could fail on you PC anyways.

  • maybe if your drinking juice and suddenly u made an accident that you moved your mouse and hit the glass full of juice and it spilled all over your computer :)

  • It's made for bench testing retard...

  • Itsa pretty sick case design and not bad for £149.21 inc VAT!

  • dude.. its an open case!? open case.. not close case.

let say its an open cage.. that much like it

we can build this thing with a dremel from a trashcan

  • i just worried about if my cat or my dog laying down in this case, and spending a penny...

  • i dont like this case, it's a good idea but i like my black X-cruiser much better. it just lookts like a pile of metal wealded together! the mini case looks way too small and the big one would probably take up too much space on ur desk since the mother board is sideways not like normal case.

  • lol haha u complain about dust..Doesnt UR pc get dusty too?Cant u sacrifise like 30mins to clean it?Learn ur facts mate :)

  • it looks like a printer

  • yeah dust...shit.

  • problem that might arise ! Dust ! will definitely sure will gather

  • 6 had dwive lol

  • evrytime you push the color change , OK???

  • That fan looks like a ventilator. xD

If you put that case next to you when you are sweating, you'll cool down immediately. :p

    LOL!

  • Flawless. Simply flawless. The mini skeleton looks awesome. Definitely one of the coolest cases I have seen in a long time though.

  • If it had some kind of acrylic covers for it you could remove.

  • Nice for a show off, but its not something you would want if you're after cooling for today's hardcore systems with latest intel CPU's and Nvidia sli cards.

  • External everything and that includes a hard drive cases thats external just like futurelook pointed out. This is like the Tech Station case, again ambient air with a fan all access hardware on the fly, it's about time.

  • Functionality wise... it certainly does BLOW. the footprint of that case is HUGE, not to mention the likelihood of immediate dust buildup on the components.

  • Great concept, but I hope it has good airflow for non-motherboard peripherals (such as hard drives).

  • There is. A 92mm fan that clips off the front that blows cold air over two of the drives. You can see it in the video.

  • However, the four hard drives that clip onto the side have no active cooling -- maybe they get some air from the large fan up top?

  • Maybe, but because the bottoms are exposed, you do have the option to add your own active hard drive coolers. The large top fan has adjustment for speed and does seem to blow over the sides a bit.
