  • Fantastic, how long have you been playing the piano?

  • @ortiza2007 just over two years now; I had been playing for about a year and a half at the time of this recording, I hope I play it a little better now! Thank you so much, it means the world to me, it really does.

  • A nice feel, but I do think it too drags a little. Aldo Ciccolini's s several albums of Satie are quite informative.

  • I understand entirely, Ciccolini's recordings are without doubt the greatest recordings of the Gnossiennes. However, I didn't want to emulate a masterpiece, I didn't think that would be of much value.

  • @jaymusic143 I agree a tiny bit about the drag..BUT... the "drag" is one of those elusive details in interpreting his music... The "drag" creates the longing for the next tone.. the next change..

Kallis has done a remarkable interpretation that beats many a professional concerto pianists ive heard.... on a shitty digital piano.

    Very well done!

  • @orglarovin Thank you, I do play it a little faster now but I certainly agree that one of the key points of Satie's music is the waiting! He was a master of understanding that a blank canvas isn't truly empty.

  • ho apprezzato veramente questa esecuzione e l'atmosfera particolare creata dal video. grazie

  • nice one!
