I'm only authorized by the estate of Earle Hagen to have my whistling video up on YouTube; any other use would be copyright infringement. I do know a lot of people have sat with their birds and just play this video over & over several times for them, once or twice a day, and I have heard from a lot of people who say their birds were able to learn it. This is a perennial favorite of mine. I like the embellishments you make and I wonder, did you dub in the extra whistle in the end or is it another person off camera? I keep coming back because the birds occasionally need to recalibrate their song and your tune in better then the original. Also, shirt, glasses, you've already heard about it...

She was very nice, and had a lot of questions. We e-mailed back and forth several times for days, and then she gave me permission. She's about the nicest lady you could ever get an e-mail from! Very wise, too.
Cherry is still learning, she's only a year old our Congo Grey but she loves this. she is stuck on the Weeds theme though, lol. And of course what do they do? They stop using that theme! UGH! So I use youtube and play these for her, I will record her and put her up when she has it down. Sometimes we wake up to her singing this, and of course that makes one smile! Keep on Whistling! Kat

@candiceb1988 Whoops! Sorry, I missed this one... I've been whistling since I was 3 or 4 but started to get good at it in my early 20's, and started to get really good in my mid-30's. I just turned 41, and I hope to be even better by the time I'm 50! If my wife doesn't cut my lips off first. (She's tired of hearing my whistling. LOL She's been hearing it non-stop for the last 15 years.)
@TheYoungMoneyShow LOL That was done by editing... I recorded a second part whistling the harmony for the middle part and the end part after the fact. (This was in my early days of making vids and all I did was use the "voiceover" tool in iMovie on the Mac. These days I use GarageBand for multi-tracking.) I actually can whistle two notes at once but it's really limited, I definitely could never do anything like this with that.

Andy Griffith is a guy (he's still alive) who had a TV show way back in the ancient days of television history. This was the theme song. btw who is Drake?

@candiceb1988 Whoops! Sorry, I missed this one... I've been whistling since I was 3 or 4 but started to get good at it in my early 20's, and started to get really good in my mid-30's. I just turned 41, and I hope to be even better by the time I'm 50! If my wife doesn't cut my lips off first. (She's tired of hearing my whistling. LOL She's been hearing it non-stop for the last 15 years.)

@TheYoungMoneyShow LOL That was done by editing... I recorded a second part whistling the harmony for the middle part and the end part after the fact. (This was in my early days of making vids and all I did was use the "voiceover" tool in iMovie on the Mac. These days I use GarageBand for multi-tracking.) I actually can whistle two notes at once but it's really limited, I definitely could never do anything like this with that.

@raymonde91 Ha ha!! Dude, I'm an OK whistler, but I'm not a magician. The harmony part is whistled by me later. I added it in afterward. (You could say I "dubbed" it in later while I was editing the vid.) Both parts whistled by me, just at different times. Thanks for the kind words!!

So I'll feel bad for everybody else if I start now! LOL That's terrible. Hmmm... Maybe next time I record I can throw something down really quick for you, and do some of the other requests I've gotten too so I'm not gypping anybody. I'll see what I can do. (I don't get to record very often though, please be aware.)

the first 10 seconds I was like. "wow that is one good looking girl" then at 10 seconds I saw some nip, and was like "oh wow peep show. Nice can't believe this is on youtube." Then at 11 -12 seconds. "damn that girl has a hairy chest"
