Canada hasn't been attacked because Canada is on good terms with most of the world AND the U.S.'s hulking military. Canada hasn't been attacked because Canada is on good terms with most of the world AND the U.S.'s hulking military. Any nation attacking canada would be viewed as a threat to the U.S. which lead the U.S. to defend "areas vital to the U.S national security", a policiy engrained in the U.S by FDR who applied this policy to Great Britain during WWII and has lasted as one of the U.S's guiding forces in foriengn policies. Not to say the Canada's militrary isn't effective, the resultes show otherwise

Canadian pride is perfectly fine, just as American pride is or British pride or any pride. It is NOT fine however, when Canada defines itself as "Canada: we're not America." Canada is a beautiful country with a wonderful culture, but so much of this pride you speak of is not pride for Canada, but pride in the fact that you are not the "dumbass Americans." This is what offends us. Start telling us and showing us the great things about Canada, instead of reminding us that you don't say "Zee."
