Our Choir director uses this software and he knows how to removed the vocals completely but unfortunately, he didn't want to teach anybody else coz he said that it will cost a bunch of penny to know how to do it, but ihave seen him removing vocal and he did a lot of procedures and i can not follow, does anyone knows? please make a tutorial ^_^

this is nowhere near perfect!!!!....i have used audacity and it gives same results....it just splits the tracks into two mono tracks and takes down the volume of the vocals BUT not very well...results not great

Removing vocals completely can not be done period. Unless you use so many tools that the intregrity and quality of the music is greatly compromised. Its never a useful thing to do. Unless you want to work on a song then save the money for the accapela then replace with better quality later. Otherwise useless

There is no general rule, but the songs recorded with many backvocals and many vocal layers are more difficult to remove the vocal from, the cleaner songs with only one simple vocal line that is over all of the rest of the recording is working best.

@14KK12 Yes this is the Answer that I want to know, because when you produce a remix for an Artist that is part of a Record Label, The Executive Producer ain't going to want the vocals half gone or muffled The Exec is going to want it COMPLETELY REMOVED. And if that can't be out , then your Ass is Booted off the Record Label. So REALISTICALLY there has to be a way.Because if this is the ONLY way than that is 100% PURE BULLSHIT

i do, celebs got these programs to block edits and if u do remix or mess around with thier songs, you can get fined, but when it comes to rights, youll win cuz of equal rights. anyways, its a copywriting rule, but i usually break it anyways. hope this helped

here is what to do. open your song you want to remove vocals in the edit window. right click and select entire wave. then go to favorites, vocal remove. Let it do its magic. Then right click again and select insert into multi track. Go to multi track and play your song. It does work, but not for all tracks.
