I like Bush -but let's just lump in someone who is wrong .05% of the time with all the other criminals. I like being part of the self-righteous minority -never compromise, never work in coalitions with anyone who disagrees with us on ANY issue. Divide and conquer -at least when we are slaving away in the gulags we will have the comfort of knowing we were never compromised -we were 100% ideologically pure.
LOL! How is this selling out! You guys are idiots for putting up this misleading title. Thumbs down. Yes, it flies in the face of liberty principles, but is this really the story ppl are talking about? Jon Bush needs to find something else to focus on cause this is pathetic!
the biggest most important thing not 1 person here has said is , you have to sleep with enemy to keep them close and the only reason he is an R is he gets to a chance to keep the republican party in check , 1 of te things is ee also is and i get asked about it alot , how many bills has got passed ? i have to ask myself this and came to the conclusion that he has spent his whole career fighting against the big gov and trying to keep america from becoming a socialist country via the constitution
@cowdawgboss An important thing to remember also is that a lot of the other congressmen in both sides of the aisle are more than likely to have been in deals with big business/corporations and generally made passing bills impossible for Ron.
Stop being an idealist please. If you want to make progress in the libertarian realm, you can't attack your own because they make concessions that allow them to continue being relevant. If Paul were to turn his back on the Republicans, he would be marginalized completely. You are too blinded by ideology to accept the fact that we must be pragmatic in order that we may make real and lasting gains. Please don't cannibalize your own for living in the real world.
Face it. Libertarian candidates never get anywhere near the White House. I will support Ron Paul, allthewhile knowing there is no man who is perfect. He has to "play ball" to be a rupublican, sounds believable to me.
that wasnt an interview and requardless what anyone says catherine bliesh works for the UN and she's the one that ambushed alex jones in austin there is no reason to attack RP on this unless your goal is to ensure a NWO canidate wins
he was firm with his answer to the questions. He didn't lie or change subject or anything questionable. I will still vote for him, bcz the success/failure of people he endorses doesn't reflect his views 100%. We keep in mind that this is his 3rd Run 88, 08 N 12 I think he has learned something and if it means to make agreement to support republican affiliates then he has to play dirty even if he may not like or agree with their voting habits. This shows Ron Paul supporters are smart to question.
Nooooo! I have to believe that Ron Paul is one of the good guys. He is my only hope right now. But John is right. Ron Paul's son Rand is not trustworthy. Which is dangerous. And there is no point in voting for a good guy if all he does is endorse the bad guys. Sheesh!
This doesn't negate my support for Ron Paul, who's doing much more good than harm, but it is disappointing. It shows the danger of trusting any politician too much. To those dumping on John Bush, come on -- does he seem anti-liberty to you? He asked a good, valid question and gave an honest analysis. We can't expect our own people to give up honesty and principle! Of course Ray Ubinger (comments) does raise an excellent point -- this really hinges on what Paul got in return for his endorsements.
"I have made an agreement that I would support the Republican incumbents in Texas." Ron needs to finish the rest of his explanation. What did YOU get out of the deal, Ron, in exchange for agreeing to do THAT?
I don't understand why anyone should be surprised by this. Ron Paul has always played the political game, and he has always played hard.
Partially to his credit, he never strays from his own over-arching ideology, but he does have his talking points(his own, personal talking points, but talking points all the same), and he never turns down an opportunity to deliver them on TV.
I'm going to base my opinion of Ron Paul on Ron Paul's voting record, not who he endorses. If this is all the trash Ron Paul's opponents can create then it's a very weak argument.
John Bush is a self-righteous ass who looks at this situation from one perspective to draw half-baked conclusions. No matter who Ron Paul endorses via email when we're all in the grave Ron Paul's plight, the campaign for John Bush's liberty, will far outweigh anything he will have achieved with two-bit ambush interviews.
Bottom line is that Libertarianism is B.S. and so is our CONstitution. The Learned Elders of Zion gave us this bs to keep us away from the Law of Moses. Yes I'm serious. Celto-Anglo-Saxon man YOU are Israel. There were 12 tribes in ancient Isreal not just Judah. 2 Samuel 7:13-16 God promises David he would have a descendant on the throne forever and the British Crown is that throne. Brit means covenant in Hebrew and Welsh. The Law of Moses is an entire governmental structure. Jahtruth.net
I love freekeene, but holy hell John Bush, call off the attack dogs. Supporting 3 low level republican officals doesn't derail Ron Paul. I have agreed with everything you've done here in Austin, but I am embarassed to see you here. There's no time to be infighting within the liberty movement. Tighten your nutsack and move on John.
Wow. That sucks. I think this a good video. i don't think John was rude, and he didn't badger Paul. He took the answer, and returned without twisting it. This is the same sh*t Lloyd Doggett deals with from the Democraps (I <3 Paul and Doggett the same). It's the effing 2-PARTY system. Unfortunately, when Paul endorses the whole Republican't party in TX (some of the most racist, sexist neocons around), he remains the lone gunner.
oh please...learn the game behind the game.......RP aint god or perfect BUT hes the way too valuable to take down for this garbage. You think 2-3 guy can take down the machine without some manuevering you head is full of jello.......RP-2012
You have to pretend like your friends with people in high places. Otherwise if your own party doesn't like you, you have no chance and he knows that. Whether he's telling you to support someone that's completely against what he or (us) stand for or not he's still the best chance this country has. I don't agree with anyone more than I do Ron Paul and to me that says I should at least vote for him regardless of who he said he would support in order for HIM to win I'm pretty sure he has to do that.
Bogga please do go look at his voting record, find ,after the reason he stated for voting that way . OH nevermind your way to lazy to do any reaserch your to busy spouting about stuff you dont know about . I DARE ANY OF YOU TO FIND ANY OTHER POLITICIAN WITH A BETTER VOTING RECORD IT SIMPLY CANNOT BE DONE. I DARE YOU TO GO LOOK AT HIS VOTING RECORD>
@rwol9999 I think RP has immense value when it comes to spreading the message. I have researched his record. Have you? Sure, he says no a lot, but remember bud, in order to reduce the size of the state, you have to pass a law to repeal, audit, or reduce something. You seem to know lots about his record, how about you tell me how many bills he's authored or co-sponsored that have actually passed? Again, in order to reduce government, you have to pass a law, not just say no over and over.
Ron Paul demonstrated his "political mastery" with his positions on 911 and Obama's eligibility. I'm giving the political movements in this country until the 2012 elections (December 21, 2012, to be exact). After that, all bets are off.
Looks like Ron Paul is covering his back. Hopefully he'll continue to vote agasint empire and war. Goog to remeber that all leaders have feet of clay.
It will be interesting to see what Rand Paul does on foreign policy. His pre-election comments were not reassuring but let's see what he does now that he has the senate seat.
There is no politician you can agree with 100%. Ron is the MOST honest politician there is. I saw this endorsement thing for what it was. He is not "selling us out" by endorsing someone we know we won't vote for..you people are so fickle.
I think Ron Paul is controlled opposition. Pressure relief valve. His plans sound great and give temporary (false) hope but they ALWAYS fail. And hence he (and the patriot position) is always made 'kooky'. They planned a one world government for ages - they are not about to stop now. Paul would be killed if he truly threatened the program. He in fact plays a very important role in fulfilling the NWO.
Without Paul we all would have revolted by now and solved our problem...
It is well to remember that Ron Paul is human. Unfortunately, we know that human terrestrial entities are not perfect. They sin and they make mistakes out of pride. Surely, he will, if off course, return to that for which we praise his Libertarian views. Remember their are Libertarian views he has that are not well supported, too.
Ron Paul sold out 30 ears ago. Where have you people been hiding.
OK, you wanna start screaming about now but stop and think, can you offer 1 thing Ron has done beyond lip service or the token controlled opposition proposal that was designed to fail. Anyone that looks closely @ Ron Paul's actual record and not just watching his lips(actions not words) knows where he is firmly footed. He's been saying 1 thing @ doing another for years, making the occasional good will gesture to placate
Ron Paul is a hybrid!! WAKE UP PEOPLE, Alex Jones comes from the same seed as Ron Paul, go to my channel and look ate what I have to say with my videos.
This war is not about our country nor countries, is about our planet.
@luisnitro91 Luis, you cannot just claim people are hybrids without firm evidence.
Claims and interpretation of one guy doesn't mean that it is true. I can say that you're a hybrid because you don't understand my values and disagree with me,but it doesn't make it true. It's not even a speculation.
Politicians are corruptible. People are naive and weak-willed.
@MrMemag I have no affiliation with the author of this video. I've been telling people for a long time about these entities. At last people are waking up not because I told them, because they them self ahve seen the truth by itself. If my video is not PHISICAL PROOF enough, I don't know what is. Ron Paul and son are evil entities, I'm 100% confident of what I'm saying. Instead of taking my word or anybody's word for it? do a research on my claims and these entities dress on sheep skin. [1]
What if Ron Paul was an agent this whole time. His job was to be as honest as possible, because they knew from the beginning that the banking system was going to collapse and they needed someone the people trusted. lol, idk, I'm voting for him anyway. I'd vote for judge andrew napolitano too.
Ron Paul knows that his supporters are going to Google the guy he told people to vote for and in 5 seconds see that guy is a shill! In other words, Paul's supporters are some of the most politically informed people in the country and would never vote for him! Paul did it just so he can show a sense of loyalty to his fellow Republicans in the state of Texas.
Interesting that he thinks idol worship is bad and it is all about the individual power, yet he spends all this time and energy fixating on ron paul. This attempt to divide and conquer is relying on the assumption that ron paul supporters are as infantile as you are in their thinking. If you want to focus locally, then why aren't you doing that instead of wasting your time talking about what a monster ron paul is. Now I understand why Alex Jones attacked these creeps at the gun rally.
@AnotherCompartment also, what I'm wondering is- if Ron Paul is endorsing this guy so he can retain some ramification in the GOP financially wise, and that his actions are 'wrong' because he is using the weakness of his enemy to fund his own campaign..then why isn't the asshole who made this video shelling out thousands of dollars to fund Ron's Campaign directly. Dr.Paul has made a MORE than modest effort to raise money, I'd like to any of these stiffs raise millions how that man does.
take that info for what it is and deal with it however you must, but just don't forget it. if you need Ron Paul to be perfect congressman, then you are in the wrong theater. Props for the info John. regardless of how people attack you for "dividing" the liberty movement. if you didn't report this info then it might mean you assume the movement is too mentally immature to handle it. we are not kids anymore people.
it sucks that ron paul had to back up some neo-cons. and i'm not all that impressed with rand paul. but i really appreciate his honest response to the guy's questions. the normal politician response would be to try to cover his ass and lie.
being in the GOP has some requirements, whether he likes them or not. and running as a libertarian at this point would mean that he wouldn't stand a chance at being elected president. i think rp being the "gateway drug" to liberty is pretty accurate
Ron Paul isn't in the Libertarian Party - He is a Libertarian himself, but he is in the Republican party - and in order for Ron Paul to ever have had made the splash he did, and open the eyes to the Majority of the people involved in the movement today, he unfortunately needed the Republican platform to get there.
As we all should be aware of, if he was a Libertarian Candidate in '08 he would never have been on the Primary Debates on National TV, he would have remained a virtual unknown like '88
With Ron Pauls tremendous support in his own district - he could flip to any party and win hands down. This man has garnered more money from the grassroots movement than any other politician in history. However, he instead passes the baton to his Tea-o-Con Son and sells you down the river. Wake UP! We need to get all professional politicians out of office and look within yourself to take lead. Good job John, keep them all honest.
Run as an independent, Ron, if "there is a limit to how much independence you can get away with." You're playing party politics at the expense of a truly genuine movement to restore the constitution, and, for me, and others, restoring the dollar and removing the enormous national debt, much of it owed to China. Then, there is the war and banks. Why endorse a candidate, who supported the invasion and bank bailouts? I will never understand this man, and why people give him such a heroic mystique.
Okay, this is the attitude that will keep us forever in the 0.5% of the popular vote category.
I understand fighting based on principle. I do.
However, have you never heard the term "pick your battles" ?
You really think Ron Paul would put himself through 11 terms of fighting lobbying, subsidies, and endless opportunity of corruption only to finally become a household name and ignite a huge libertarian movement and THEN give up and sell out at nearly 75 years old?
@dangercartxx So don't question anything Ron Paul says and does... just because it will keep you in 0.5%? You want to ignore this serious flaw of endorsing politicians that completely oppose everything you stand for? You're saying "don't talk about that"? Why? Because its inconvenient? Some people may think its not a big deal. Others may disagree. Don't deal with it by telling people it makes no sense. Explain why this is perfectly OK for him to endorse Lamar Smith. Unless, of course, you can't.
@TubingWithMyGnomies It is okay because in politics there are certain concessions that you MUST make because of the very inherent nature of holding political office.
You have no idea what was promised to him in return. Did it have anything to do with his son becoming a Senator? Did it solidify his position as chairman of the financial services committee?
He obviously made the calculation that it benefited the cause of liberty in the long run to make this agreement.
@dangercartxx Hm. I guess that makes sense. But, I'm still not a fan of the secret dealings. I'd like to know all the conditions. I realize that Ron Paul has to "play the game", I guess, but its this kind of stuff that makes you question your support for a candidate. Obama screwed us all and ever since then I vowed not to drink the kool aid of any candidate every again. I'm just trying to make sure Ron Paul is really going to hold up his end of the bargain i.e. no trickery.
@TubingWithMyGnomies well that is where trust has to come in. The man has a record 22 years long and has never once voted for anything I disagree with- am I really going to throw away my support for him just because of an agreement he made that I don't fully understand? Like I said previously, clearly it was a bargaining chip where he was promised something in return that, by his estimation, brought our cause out on top in the trade.
@dangercartxx "am I really going to throw away my support for him just because... " NO! Let's get something clear: Nobody is asking you to throw away anything. I'm not here to change your mind. I'm here to ask hard questions. I can only speak for myself and I'm not satisfied with "trust". I "trusted" Obama. Never again. I hear you, he has a long, consistent record, blah blah blah. I'm going over it in detail and building a solid case, not just taking people's word. This goes for ALL candidates.
@dangercartxx ... and part of building a solid case is understanding these relationships, these bargaining chips. The game is just as much about the deals made off the record as the voting record. Paul's voting record is only part of the job and part of the big picture. Good, you trust Paul and that's fine. However, I will never "trust" another politician again. I want to know what and how much is compromised for Ron Paul to get ahead and how much Ron Paul won't compromise for the greater good.
John, we need people like Ron Paul in office. I believe people like him would listen, when we have disagreements like this. So show a little love for him too. Most importantly we need to have more people voicing their opinions, so that we have more of an impact on our government than greedy corporations.
Ron Paul made the statement. That's far more than ANY other "party" incumbent. As long as ANYONE votes REPUBLIRAT or DEMONCRAT, this country will continue to spiral down the toilet - they are the SAME "PARTY"...don't vote Party -vote INDIVIDUAL. He made it public the "party" has some strings attached to him that enable his survival. Didn't we know that already?
C, J, & LCL: I'm surprised u would even consider posting this. U do realize Ron's gotten lots of heat for speaking Truth, right? U do realize a plane he was on had "problems" & a sudden landing, right? U do realize that Congress ejected & jailed Con. Trafficant without any evidence of wrongdoing because he spoke Truth & they'd love to shut Ron up any way they can, right? U are so naive. Try running for congress yourself & let's see how u perform. Until then, take this down & shut up.
The man (Ron Paul) has to walk a right rope of life and death being a liberty candidate, attack him some more, this is just what we need, fractionalize the movement some more, he sold us down the river endorsing GOP candidates? wtf grow up...
i have to say ron paul is a great man and our government is corrupt and in a corrupt government you have to make it look like maybe youd play ball. who knows maybe you have to play ball once and awhile because they ARE in control. i think your hurting the movement with this vid.
@AStarSpangledGirl So we're supposed to give politicians a free pass if we aren't perfect? Secondly, we can only respond to you if we're perfect, is that what you're saying? Hmm, are you perfect? No? Then using your logic, do you have the wisdom to respond to us?
I don't like the statement or the support of Lamar Smith. The question is, what is the GOP establishment doing for Dr. Paul? You should have posted the video and let it speak for itself, without all of the lame commentary, and attempt to "make a name for oneself." Ambush journalism? The man endorsed the Republicans, publicly. Don't act as if some secret discovered. I don't know, but if you're for individual liberty, how could you go out of your way to attack Ron Paul?
@P0LICEstateWATCH ----- Look what they did to Rand Paul and then re-think your question. It isn't what the GOP is DOING for Ron, it may be what they AREN'T doing TO him. "Support our shilly candidates or we take you down with our infinite resources in another manufactured scandal like the racist newsletter piece we planted in the early 90's...Remember how painful THAT was RON?".
I have known since the day he pulled out of the GOP nomination race against McCain that Ron Paul was a sell out poser. Since that day I have had nothing to do with politics, because there is no one, NO ONE to trust, period. I have moved on to researching a post politics society. To think that this man was different, Ha, I knew that he cut a deal when he chose not to pursue election fraud charges against the GOP, and was beyond all doubt when he allowed the eletoral vote by without vetting O
Endorse only those who pass the litmus test. Not those whom the party wishes you too. This has not been an issue with you in the past. Do not backslide. Because you stood against the status que, that is exactly why you are loved so much by so many.
Sorry But He's right thats how politics work its a crappy world but he has to do what he has to do to survive sorry if you think otherwise! That doesn't change a damn thing about his view on the Constitution!
Ron Paul pretty much explain his actions, and as a responsible voter, it is up to me to research the candidates and make my decision...so thank you John Bush for asking the question that many Texan voters may have had, but also, thank you Ron Paul for once again telling it like it is..I don't think it was backpedalling and I don't think you should be suspicious of his motives anymore. It's POLITICS, explained clearly, so now you know what to do...
Its weird that Ron Paul would respond like this, and at minimum he spoke the truth, he's not selling out , and this John Bush reaction seems a bit labored he might have an agenda.
Still Campaign for liberty endorsed candidates holds weight and if these people are Neo Cons and Ron knows it its a bit daunting. but always research and never take any ones word.
yep, saw that coming. I gues politicians can't stay honest forever. You have start wondering though if the powers that be didn't just stick him up there to get us to shut up and behave. F*ck that! All in all, the only real solution to the GOP problem is to ignore it. There control over us is an illusion ran by the 4th branch (AKA the media), so I think that our first step toward freedom is turn off the TV and read.
John Bush is a little smart ass punk. These idiots are so short sighted it's not even funny. It's pretty obvious who and what they are and what their intentions are. He needs his fucking ass kicked real good and maybe that smirk will be wiped off his face.
Do you guys honestly think that Ron Paul is Change or going to change anything. He's just another tool in my opinion. He is part of the brotherhood. I read some comment about slavery ending, in my opinion we are still slaves, corporate slaves. and whats in bondage is our minds. Unfortunately the world sold out long time ago. JFK spoke out again secret societies and he actually represented what america is about as far as politicians go. And what happend to him.

just another armchair critic that attacks anyone around him who is 98% perfect.. usually this type of guy never gets anything accomplished in his life and never gets his voice heard, but because there is a legitimate liberty movement here now very largely due to the contribution of the person he is criticizing, all of a sudden his opinion gets to the surface.. sort of disgusting in many ways. wonder why i've heard people call libertarian party the debate party that never gets anything done.
He did what he had to do to keep his seat at that time, yet he worked for the ideal that our generation sees as a reality: The end of slavery. Do you not think Dr. Paul is working the same way? The political machine hasn't changed that much.
Look at Dr. Paul's voting record. He doesn't compromise there ... and it doesn't do him any good if he goes to the wall so much that he loses the influential backing of people in his party. If he loses his seat, he can't vote no, can he?
Because the Liberty movement isn't about Dr. Paul, it is about the message. It's about freedom, not idol worship.
I do my own legwork because I know history.
Case in point:
Sentator Henry Clay crafted the compromise of 1850, which helped end human slavery, yet he had 30 to 40 slaves at the Ashland Estate.
At that time slavery was the economic backbone of Kentucky, and the number of human beings you owned was tied into how much political influence you had.
Let's have a reality check upon this reality check, folks. FACT: It would be political suicide for Dr. Paul if he didn't back the incumbents in his State. He has to cut deals to keep his seat. That's how the political game is played. That's why I never blindly endorse whoever he sends me an email about with out doing research on my own.
Can try to take over Texas Republicans through ground up, like the religious right did in the past. Actually may be easier and more powerful than doing through a 3rd party. Sad, but maybe true. -- Those in current power will try to lock out Ron Paulers, so have to be discrete. Yes, play the game some... but slowly work in and take over with young folks like you! YEAH! Guess.. hold one's nose in the process though. Sigh!
And... no Ron Paul did not sell out, as he is in the Republican party. He isn't an official Libertarian, so he is doing about as good as anyone can as a Republican. I give him credit for that! By not being a purist, then he has gotten time on tv and news. Good for him! -- So...ignore such endorsements as he basically told you to do and move on, IMO.
we'll i'll write this before viewing the other comments so i'll try to bring something together. i've been grappling with the rep. indetity that R.Paul is affiliated and not because i am a lefty but because i was a righty who felt terribly duped by the gop. however, i understand a few things about warfare, and be sure that this is a war for our minds. you must know your enemies. you must infiltrate your enemies. divided we will fail so stay unified on actions and not words.
You're an idiot. Why is this surprising? It would be political suicide for Paul if the people in his state turned against him. And I don't think it's a good idea to lose Paul in Congress, do you? Does he vote for Neo-con policies and agendas? No. Does he support the bailouts or wars? No. So basically what I see here is Ron Paul being Ron Paul, and doing what every politician must do from time to time - a little back scratching.
I agree w/the commentators sentiment. Nevertheless, If Ron Paul (warts & all) doesn't lead us into liberty then the movement has little hope. There is NO one on the political scene that comes close the stands that Ron Paul has been willing to take. This is NOT a game . We need to advance the liberty agenda in the very best ways possible, even if that is to overlook the moderate compromises that RP seems willing to take.
More Ron Paul, Alex Jones and other liberty minded people bashing... BASHING, not criticizing... DIVIDING, not untiting...
.. This is what the Liberty Kids said they'd do, and dividing and taking the liberty movement THEIR way is exactly what they ARE doing. The liberty candidate had not yet filed his papers to run when RPaul supported Lamar Smith, and for another thing, Ron Paul does not want to align himself with the atheists like John, Cate, and Brooke in the Libertarian Party.
Question: Did Rand Paul say that the afghan war should be fought by special forces alone ? And does he agree with iraq ?
What politician do you think is real and can push forward for a free america ? this video only extracts part of a whole and has lacked in context to tie into the whole point of liberty movement in U.S.A.
a lot more analysis with deep contextural aspects of the issues discussed would have made this a better video.
Maybe Ron Paul made a deal with certain republicans in exchange for support for auditing the Fed?
Maybe part of "investigative journalism" involves getting adequate info before reporting it? Otherwise it is effectively just innuendo. What other avenues did you try to gain a more thorough explanation? Ron Paul looked like he was in a hurry.
At least he is being open and honest about it. I would ask a few follow-up questions... Like, When was this deal made? With whom? and what are the details of it? I am willing to bet Dr. Paul would tell you exactly what the deal is.
minus his failings he is still our best advocate in Washington at the moment. all others are worse. im not apologizing for him... im upset and I disagree with his endorsements... that said, factually hes the best we got presently.
@infoseekrs The best you got? Is your self. Don't vote, simple as that, there is no man or entity that can fix what has been broken.
That is God job from now on, prepare youre self and your love ones for this up coming future. Because it will be the last of this system of things, Yeshua is coming. "BEWARE OF THE NEPHILIM"
It just goes to show ya, to hold high office in the 2 party system, bits of the soul have to be sold off. Calling for Ron Paul to redeem himself, dump the Republican party and adopt the Libertarian or Constiturionalist Party.
The message here is DO NOT FOLLOW ANYONE! Do research on your local elections and view their voting records. Vote for liberty from the ground up.
I have had misgivings about Ron Paul before but always let it slide in the interest of constitutional freedoms outlined by that document but this is too much, too much for me.
I do appreciate what RP has done and that is waking up a lot of Americans to the alternative which is liberty and freedom. Thanks Dr. Paul but your time has passed.
My guess on what happened was that he had to make this deal in order to maintain a position on some committees, such as banking and financial services committee, or maybe the speaking slot at CPAC? Not sure, just speculation. This goes to show the challenges and obstacles that government, by its very nature, creates - trouble. Abolish as much government as possible to avoid this trouble!
Documented proof that the Constitution was not for us can be found at:Padelford, Fay & Co.v.The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah,[14Georgia438,520].This was a Court case wherein the Plaintiffs sued the City of Savannah, for violating what they believed were their constitutionally protected rights! The decision of the Judge says it all:But indeed,no private person has a right to complain,by suit in Court,on the ground of a breach of the Constitution the private person is not a party to it
ubelieve that America defeated the English! For most of us it is. So you want a repetition over and over again of that state in which there is no worry, no problem, and no self. Parents want their children to have a secure position in society. What they call responsibility is part of that respectability they worship;
And it seems to me that where there is respectability there is no order; they are concerned only with becoming a perfect bourgeois. You prepare your children to fit into society you are preparing them to be killed. If you loved your children you would have no war. No government no communism, socialism, democracy, fascism all Lies all business to keep you and everyone else in line Sheep is what we are Slaves with masters, Learn for yourselves think for yourselves stop your selfishness. :)
The activism of youthful Bushes benefits from their passion and also requires moral decisions that is, decisions based on clear distinctions between the right and wrong ways to achieve results. Such clarity is more available to youth than to age.
All this is as it should be. So consider the possibility that Ron Paul and John Bush both are correct.
So his autocue reading is a bit awkward should he give up because he's got presentation shortcomings?
Paul has been fighting the good fight for many years, even decades, and still he soldiers on. If he lost his seat which he would if he didnt toe his partys line to at least the minimum required he would lose the platform that enables him to continue doing what he can. Compromise from this old campaigner, scarred by a thousand battles but still a fighter, is not necessarily wrong.
For what it's worth, I reckon John Bush is a clear thinker, articulate and explains his criticisms well. That doesn't mean Ron Paul is wrong, because as an old fella he's got a different perspective on things. Sure, you've always got to be on the lookout for NWO stooges. But Paul puts forward the key issues and risks in a way that can be understood by those still trying to come to terms with what's gone wrong in America.
He's repeatedly said that if a war is Just it is not only acceptable but necessary. I voted for Ron Paul and I was never anti war. I am against the war in Iraq and I am for the war in Afghanistan if it can be proven that they actually attacked us on 911 or that they were willfully protecting those that did. I don't support the idea of us providing security for them. If they started the fight I think we should knock em on their ass and get out.
Did you get this interview on video with Ron Paul, because for all we know this is all hearsay. Why would anyone believe someone who obviously wants to divide the freedom movement for their own personal gain. Lets way what you have done in your whole 2 years in the freedom movement against all 30 years Ron Paul has fought for liberty. Your not even a spec on his freedom map...
@freedomsillusions did you even watch this video? It's at the 3 min mark, you're asking loaded questions without even doing the most basic amount of research - watching the video before commenting. Freedom's illusions... how ironic.
John and Catherine you are both douche bags in my opinion. You are dividing the movement based on a email. Ron Paul still has a solid voting record and that should be a reflections of his character, not the fact that he said a few nice words about an Lamar Smith. You people are nuts. First it was Ron Paul, then you went after Alex Jones after YOU invited him to a rally. Now you are telling people not to support C4L. 2 years in the movement and you think you know better. I beg to differ!
@freedomsillusions I don't think there is anything wrong with pointing out a politicians mistakes, but I agree with you to an extent. He should still be supporting Ron Paul, because he has done so much for this movement. We've got to keep everyone in check, but at the same time he should be supporting Ron Paul. In other words I completely agree with infoseekrs.
@freedomsillusions I agree that these dopes from Keene are just that -- dopers. IN fact Lamar Smith campaigned against Ron Paul during the presidential primary. Whoever they got email from was not Ron Paul... These socialists in Keene would not even know their political asses from their elbows anyway.
If there was no one running against Lamar, then all the GOPers ran as a block.
What would be the point of not supporting the rest of them? Some of these assholes supported Alvin Greene... against Jim DeMint! I would be more upset about that.
Keeners should stick to smoking dope - that's all they are good for.
This is where big eyed idealism meets reality. You want to change the game, but first you have to win it. Might not be in people's true morals, but some times you have to do what you have to do.
Also, you have to look at what support he's giving this guy, and local email? Is he stumping for him? What did the email say? I'm not big into demonizing people because they do something wrong, or something you don't like. People are not perfect. That goes for Ron Paul too.
Listen kid, I agree, we should always hold our representatives accountable. Never stop questioning and motive checking. When a douche bag, loud mouthed, wet behind the ears kid goes on air calling Ron Paul a neo-con it splinters the movement. Get it? PS- You (he) show your inexperience and childishness on your youtube "expose".... LOL Don't let me catch ya down at BNB or might have to take my belt off, kid. Ron Paul is not perfect but who else can take our country back? THINK...
It shows the effort to take over the GOP is futile. There are liberty loving smaller parties out there that are in line with liberty. Take your efforts there. The GOP right now is what 10, 15 % of voters and the Dems are only 20- 25 %. A third party has a real chance if you go to them. Starting a new one will take 30 years to get sea legs. RP says mostly the right things but ultimately he is stuck in the machine.
John H.W. Bush You are a douche bag, Who else can take Ron's place... Bob Barr? Bwa-haha. You are a joke and by the way your show sucks. You are nothing but a 25 year old punk kid know it all. Stop splintering the freedom movement and get off your egotistical hi-horse before you "fall" off...
Hey underoos, "Put not your trust in princes", even Ron Paul. John Bush here is just calling question, supported by video documentation. I still respect Ron Paul overall, but he's not perfect. Like any other politician, we should hold Dr. Paul's feet to the fire on this. I think you are far too idealistic underoos. We do not live in a utopian world nor should we support utopian leaders. People are imperfect. You sound more like the "punk kid" underoos.
This just goes to show that the GOP is able to corrupt a good man and honest politician. I do not think anyone is attacking Ron Paul here, but disappointed that he has to lower himself to support the GOP, which is sadly something he chose to do as a promise to the GOP.
Agree & disagree. Ron Paul clearly isn't a corrupt politician, although he did make a mistake on this one part mentioned in the video. Noone's perfect.
Attacking Ron Paul for this is not a strategically sound move for the liberty movement. Besides being an obvious egotist, this guy is either strategically inept or he is cointelpro.
Couldn't disagree with you more. This wasn't an "attack". It just calls into question one of Ron Paul's actions, and calls for us to contact Ron Paul about this disagreement.
You are attacking the messenger and not the message, because if you look internally, you cannot attack the message.
Ron Paul has done more to spread the message of liberty in the past to years than anyone else has in decades. This guy wants to derail him because he's not absolutely perfect? After all, he is closer to losing his seat than ever before. I don't like hearing that he has made that deal, but it's a small price to pay to keep Ron Paul out front spreading the message.
"Ron Paul has done more to spread the message of liberty in the past to years than anyone else has in decades."
So what??? Does this mean he's perfect?
"This guy wants to derail him"
Really? Calling into question someone's mistake is an attempt to derail someone? If there's somone you care for who makes a mistake, do you pat him on the back, say "good boy, keep on making mistakes"? I don't think anyone is this dumb. But maybe, Ron Paul worshippers are. Respect most the Constitution.
Lame. If he was in a tight spot, it would have been easier to defend if he just didn't endorse anyone. That would have been an OK compromise in my eyes.
You're 100% right here. Ron Paul shouldn't have endorsed anyone. You should send Ron Paul this message, as he clearly made a mistake in this endorsement.
I find it sad that those starting to rise in the movement spend as much time pointing fingers upward as they do helping lift the movement together.
I'm seeing factions brewing in this movement, and the sad thing is that there isn't more promotion of the weekly street action participants and those who testify as there is this crap.
More info less commentary. Your penis size won't shrink.
I like Bush -but let's just lump in someone who is wrong .05% of the time with all the other criminals. I like being part of the self-righteous minority -never compromise, never work in coalitions with anyone who disagrees with us on ANY issue. Divide and conquer -at least when we are slaving away in the gulags we will have the comfort of knowing we were never compromised -we were 100% ideologically pure.

the biggest most important thing not 1 person here has said is , you have to sleep with enemy to keep them close and the only reason he is an R is he gets to a chance to keep the republican party in check , 1 of te things is ee also is and i get asked about it alot , how many bills has got passed ? i have to ask myself this and came to the conclusion that he has spent his whole career fighting against the big gov and trying to keep america from becoming a socialist country via the constitution

Please don't cannibalize your own for living in the real world.

he was firm with his answer to the questions. He didn't lie or change subject or anything questionable. We keep in mind that this is his 3rd Run 88, 08 N 12 I think he has learned something and if it means to make agreement to support republican affiliates then he has to play dirty even if he may not like or agree with their voting habits. This shows Ron Paul supporters are smart to question.

Wow.

Dr.Paul has made a MORE than modest effort to raise money, I'd like to any of these stiffs raise millions how that man does.

it sucks that ron paul had to back up some neo-cons. and i'm not all that impressed with rand paul. but i really appreciate his honest response to the guy's questions. the normal politician response would be to try to cover his ass and lie.
being in the GOP has some requirements, whether he likes them or not. and running as a libertarian at this point would mean that he wouldn't stand a chance at being elected president. i think rp being the "gateway drug" to liberty is pretty accurate
claridiva2000 1 year ago

This makes no sense.
dangercartxx 1 year ago 29
@dangercartxx So don't question anything Ron Paul says and does... just because it will keep you in 0.5%? You want to ignore this serious flaw of endorsing politicians that completely oppose everything you stand for? You're saying "don't talk about that"? Why? Because its inconvenient? Some people may think its not a big deal. Others may disagree. Don't deal with it by telling people it makes no sense. Explain why this is perfectly OK for him to endorse Lamar Smith. Unless, of course, you can't.
TubingWithMyGnomies 3 weeks ago
@TubingWithMyGnomies It is okay because in politics there are certain concessions that you MUST make because of the very inherent nature of holding political office.
You have no idea what was promised to him in return. Did it have anything to do with his son becoming a Senator? Did it solidify his position as chairman of the financial services committee?
He obviously made the calculation that it benefited the cause of liberty in the long run to make this agreement.
dangercartxx 3 weeks ago
@dangercartxx Hm. I guess that makes sense. But, I'm still not a fan of the secret dealings. I'd like to know all the conditions. I realize that Ron Paul has to "play the game", I guess, but its this kind of stuff that makes you question your support for a candidate. Obama screwed us all and ever since then I vowed not to drink the kool aid of any candidate every again. I'm just trying to make sure Ron Paul is really going to hold up his end of the bargain i.e. no trickery.
TubingWithMyGnomies 3 weeks ago
@TubingWithMyGnomies well that is where trust has to come in. The man has a record 22 years long and has never once voted for anything I disagree with- am I really going to throw away my support for him just because of an agreement he made that I don't fully understand? Like I said previously, clearly it was a bargaining chip where he was promised something in return that, by his estimation, brought our cause out on top in the trade.
dangercartxx 3 weeks ago
@dangercartxx "am I really going to throw away my support for him just because... " NO! Let's get something clear: Nobody is asking you to throw away anything. I'm not here to change your mind. I'm here to ask hard questions. I can only speak for myself and I'm not satisfied with "trust". I "trusted" Obama. Never again. I hear you, he has a long, consistent record, blah blah blah. I'm going over it in detail and building a solid case, not just taking people's word. This goes for ALL candidates.
TubingWithMyGnomies 3 weeks ago
@dangercartxx ... and part of building a solid case is understanding these relationships, these bargaining chips. The game is just as much about the deals made off the record as the voting record. Paul's voting record is only part of the job and part of the big picture. Good, you trust Paul and that's fine. However, I will never "trust" another politician again. I want to know what and how much is compromised for Ron Paul to get ahead and how much Ron Paul won't compromise for the greater good.

F*ck that! All in all, the only real solution to the GOP problem is to ignore it. just another armchair critic that attacks anyone around him who is 98% perfect.. usually this type of guy never gets anything accomplished in his life and never gets his voice heard, but because there is a legitimate liberty movement here now very largely due to the contribution of the person he is criticizing, all of a sudden his opinion gets to the surface.. sort of disgusting in many ways. wonder why i've heard people call libertarian party the debate party that never gets anything done.
spyletu 1 year ago
So the point is: Senator Clay owned slaves, but did he support slavery? No. Dr. Paul endorses neocons, but does he vote with them ? No.
cormacjosh 1 year ago
He did what he had to do to keep his seat at that time, yet he worked for the ideal that our generation sees as a reality: The end of slavery. Do you not think Dr. Paul is working the same way? The political machine hasn't changed that much.
Look at Dr. Paul's voting record. He doesn't compromise there ... and it doesn't do him any good if he goes to the wall so much that he loses the influential backing of people in his party. If he loses his seat, he can't vote no, can he?
cormacjosh 1 year ago
Because the Liberty movement isn't about Dr. Paul, it is about the message. It's about freedom, not idol worship.
I do my own legwork because I know history.
Case in point:
Sentator Henry Clay crafted the compromise of 1850, which helped end human slavery, yet he had 30 to 40 slaves at the Ashland Estate.
At that time slavery was the economic backbone of Kentucky, and the number of human beings you owned was tied into how much political influence you had.
cormacjosh 1 year ago
Let's have a reality check upon this reality check, folks. FACT: It would be political suicide for Dr. Paul if he didn't back the incumbents in his State. He has to cut deals to keep his seat. That's how the political game is played. That's why I never blindly endorse whoever he sends me an email about with out doing research on my own.
cormacjosh 1 year ago
Can try to take over Texas Republicans through ground up, like the religious right did in the past. Actually may be easier and more powerful than doing through a 3rd party. Sad, but maybe true. -- Those in current power will try to lock out Ron Paulers, so have to be discrete. Yes, play the game some... but slowly work in and take over with young folks like you! YEAH! Guess.. hold one's nose in the process though. Sigh!
MegF142857 1 year ago
And... no Ron Paul did not sell out, as he is in the Republican party. He isn't an official Libertarian, so he is doing about as good as anyone can as a Republican. I give him credit for that! By not being a purist, then he has gotten time on tv and news. Good for him! -- So...ignore such endorsements as he basically told you to do and move on, IMO.
MegF142857 1 year ago
we'll i'll write this before viewing the other comments so i'll try to bring something together. i've been grappling with the rep. indetity that R.Paul is affiliated and not because i am a lefty but because i was a righty who felt terribly duped by the gop. however, i understand a few things about warfare, and be sure that this is a war for our minds. you must know your enemies. you must infiltrate your enemies. divided we will fail so stay unified on actions and not words.
pecopoopoopants 1 year ago

What politician do you think is real and can push forward for a free america ? this video only extracts part of a whole and has lacked in context to tie into the whole point of liberty movement in U.S.A.

The activism of youthful Bushes benefits from their passion and also requires moral decisions that is, decisions based on clear distinctions between the right and wrong ways to achieve results. Such clarity is more available to youth than to age.
All this is as it should be. So consider the possibility that Ron Paul and John Bush both are correct.
macdundas 2 years ago
So his autocue reading is a bit awkward should he give up because he's got presentation shortcomings?
Paul has been fighting the good fight for many years, even decades, and still he soldiers on. If he lost his seat which he would if he didnt toe his partys line to at least the minimum required he would lose the platform that enables him to continue doing what he can. Compromise from this old campaigner, scarred by a thousand battles but still a fighter, is not necessarily wrong.
macdundas 2 years ago

It shows the effort to take over the GOP is futile. There are liberty loving smaller parties out there that are in line with liberty. Take your efforts there. The GOP right now is what 10, 15 % of voters and the Dems are only 20- 25 %. A third party has a real chance if you go to them.
