if your shelters is overfloading, you breed on the wrong animals.

in Denmark you cant find a pure bred staff at any form of shelter, only from proff. breeders/kennels and they are very very very expensive dogs here, from 1200 punds and up(to compare, a rottweiler costs about 700).(sorry for my bad spelling)

My staffie lays with its legs streched straight out just like the brown one at 0:23 ive had other dogs but only see staffies lie down like that.I rescued mine and the shelter said it was used for breeding,where I live there isnt alot of staffies but a shitload of pitbulls for adoption

I really disapprove of staffy breeding..

My staff had puppies when we first got her; her previous owner didnt mention she was pregnant when he handed her over to us, so we got a shock when she doubled in size over a few months. She had a litter of 5, and it was SO hard to home them. We later found that only 1 of the puppies remained with the adoptive family, the rest had been put in a shelter.....

You look in ANY british dog kennel and they are overwhelmed with staffies. Adopt, dont breed.

@netbevaz You can't blame all chavs to be honest, I used to be pretty chavy and owned a staff, but I never kept it in any other way but as a beloved pet. The real problem is the sick fights who use them for dog fighting now that pitbull's aren't an option.

In my opinion anyone caught dog fighting should be castrated as clearly there DNA should be removed from this earth.

When caan u get these in america???

Americans got their hands on these dogs in the early 1900's and bastardized the breed. They kept breeding the Largest specimens they could find of the staffordshire bullterrier over and over again until they have what is now called an "Amstaff" & "Pittbull" on average 3 to 4 inches taller than the Staffordshire bullterrier.

This is the sad truth..what americans have done & have done with many other breeds!

Thankfully there are still TRUE staffy lovers around!

@delitemyheart true english staffordshirebull terrier s bewtween 14-16 inches at withers. colours ref fawn brindle white blue black or any of those with markings, u can get other colours but its not kennel club qualification, other colours like brown or dalmation colours etc are disqualified for showing. there smaller than pits, noses are shorter, legs shorter, even am staff is bigger then english staffie:D goodluck

@greg672 theres loads in uk, they originated from stafffordshire, price more for reds n blues, price for them ranges from £150 to £450 approx, my red was kennel club reg and i luckily got him for £150 as man said a indian man who sounded no good wanted him and he wanted a good home, sadly he died at 10 but was bouncing around as a puppy before, r.i.p saskie:( the dogs on the video are full pedigree like mine was, fine example of the breed:)

@greg672 im not sure, youll need to see papers if you come accross one, check both parents are under 16 inches high from withers, inside mouth should have black speckles, eyes should be almond shape. red ones seem to be more firey lol...and have alot of character, but hate the heat, can suffer heatstroke as there design makes breathing from the english bulldog rather hard, the way they were designed. i used to hose mine down on a hot day if hed been walking as they will walk till they drop
