that statement doesnt only apply to taiji's solo career. that statement applies to his early days in seotaiji and boys, when he introduced rap, hiphop, rock to korea. i know it dont sound like much cause we got all that here in america (if you ARE in america), but korea never heard of such a thing back in teh days.

Seo Taiji doesn't copy. His music is original and showing people that he can do any kind of genre if he wishes. He has made many albums. Starting with Rap and dance. Second album to beastie boys like with mixed with traditional Korean folk music, dumb and bass, techno. 3rd album was mostly rap with a bit of metal. You see he can do it all. He is not just a stupid metal head who does the exact same music again and again. He evolves much like music does. There's no one who can top him.
