  • I've worn out the VHS I had of this, thanks for positing this show.

  • @fredstuckmann (:

My pleasure. It's Bill at his best (or very close to it).

  • This final part is cut off at the very beginning where he's supposed to say "...he just said "Hey!" and everybody just stood there."

  • (claps with people at end)

  • great job your a Cosby

  • love bill cosby!!

  • Thank you for sharing these - so funny so funny so funny!!!!

  • Augustine Washington

  • bill cosby doesnt know the story about george washington and the cherry tree was not true.

  • @MichaelHansenFUN i don't think it really matters...it's still funny. enjoy it.

  • Wow. Thanks for uploading. Id love to have just a quarter of Bill Cosbys storytelling, and comedy talent. Incredible. Thank you Mr and Mrs Cosby for letting him live. Hahahhahaha

  • I wish this were as accessible and as popular as the "Bill Cosby: Himself" Special. Not enough folk seem to know about The Stand-Up history of The Cos. They just know of "Bill Cosby: Himself" and that's it. The large collection of his stand-up is mainly in audio format spread over 20 albums, the last of which released 20 years ago. Man if only more younger people knew how great he was. He has more than just "Chocolate Cake for Breakfast" and the "Dentist" routine. Way more.

  • ty so much bill cosby is great!!!

  • great, man - thanks!

  • funniest man on the planet..in good company with Chris Rock, Dick Gregory,George Carlin and Lewis Black....well deserved of the Mark Twain Prize....terrific......"look at the Franklin boy, come here"...

  • He proves u don't have to cuss after every line to make something funny. Wow dat was great

  • its funny as hell cause u cant beat your kids and yell at them but these military peoplebeat you mentally lol xD

  • On my 10th birthday back in 1983 my parents bought me a cassette called "His Funniest Record Yet." The artist was Bill Cosby. I had never heard of him before but that was the day I became a fan of his work. The way he can talk about ordinary everyday life yet make it so funny is pure brilliance. And he doesn't rely on crudity or vulgar language to do it.

  • what a freaking genius

  • Come here and look at the Franklin boy!

My father lifted me up over his head, and said "How far.... do you want to go?!"

  • Who knew Bill Cosby was an HM?

  • never a good thing when your father takes your mothers side against you

  • @Airman32292

    so so true! :D

  • what a man! pure genius! thx FOR UPLOADING!! Bill Cosby become share 1st upper place in my feviort artist and genius of seeing life, next to george carling. Sorry for my poor english, i know that, i am to good in that deparment. ALL what i wanned to do is express my fealings. cheers

  • Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cosby, thank you for bringing Bill in the world...and you let him live...

  • I can't wait to see him this saturday

  • "How far do you want to go?" ROFLMAO

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I've been non-stop laughing throughout this whole show.

  • Dear Augustine Washington thank you for letting your son live =D

  • Todays comedians should take a page from Mr Cosby's book. He doesn't tell jokes and wait for an answer, he finds humor in his own personal life stories. A classic comedian.

  • Good stuff ..... Thank You for uploading this show

  • OMG,,,he's so funny,,,thank you so much for uploading these!!!

  • When he says it like that makes it sound like G. Washingtons father was the greatest man this country has ever known

  • @qix77 yay someone who understands! XD

  • This was superb comedy. Cosby is brilliant. Thank you so much for this. My face hurts so bad from laughing. Wait where's my glasses...

  • thank you for uploading them.

  • lol the master storyteller forever!

  • I never heard this stand up material before, thanks for posting!

  • if there was ever a comedian that could make u smile and laugh all the way thru its definatly Bill Cosby, his stories are very funny, creative and they always make me feel like a kid listening to my grandfather talking about his life stories.

No matter what comedian comes along and tells stories no one can touch The legendary Bill cosby's imagination and piercing humor....hes simply amazing and also the king of clean comedy :)

  • @faithfulmonkey i couldn't agree more :)

  • he did not know he was going to be THE george washington...Classic!

  • That was such a brilliant show !!!

I enjoyed every part of it !

(But isn't it about time that YouTube will finally do away with their 10 minutes upload limit ?!!)

  • Is it just me, or does he sound like Master Shake when he's doing that impersonation?

  • that was...absolutely brilliant!!!

bill cosby is an amazing comical genius

loved every second of the show

  • He didn't know that I was THE Bill Cosby!

  • Thank you so very much for posting this. Bill Cosby is one of a kind and the best! I've loved him since I was a little girl when I first heard his album "RIGHT".

  • come ere look at the franklin boy come ere lol

  • This is one of the best specials I've ever seen. Cosby is a genius. I dib and dab in stand up, and this just inspired me to write. One of the few all time great comedians who ever lived.

  • I began watching the Cosby Show at a young age and I didn't understand everything and lost interest. Found a DVD of his years later and have been addicted ever since, both to his comedy and to jazz. Thank you so very much for uploading this! I don't know why it hasn't been placed in stores somewhere. People would definately buy it.

  • This was available to own on VHS in the mid 80's and it was never re-released on DVD. This video was sponsored by the Eastman Kodak Company(I remember seeing the Kodak film logo on it). Bill Cosby was once a Kodak spokesman.

  • What a talent ! Very hard not to like the man !!! Brilliant ! Thanks for posting it...

  • Thanks WebsterJake!

  • "Look at the Franklin boy..." ....lol

  • THE Master.

As a kid, I listened to his albums over and over. Most of his jokes went over my head, but I still loved to listen to the way he made people laugh. Any skill I may have in making people laugh I owe to him. I wanted to be like him when I grew up.

I'm 48 now, and in a way I've succeeded. I can't hold half a cup of water in my navel, but I'm in that league.

  • I saw this show when it played in Utah. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Thanks for posting THE Bill Cosby.

  • Thank you for uploading these, this show is brilliant!

  • I'm going to see him this oct.2nd

  • I remember watchin this when I was a kid and laughing hysterically at the way he tells a story. Now I'm laughing even harder, because I can relate to a lot of that stuff. (Just last week, I cut a pair of jockey shorts with scissors because it was cutting off my circulation. Seriously!)

  • i used to watch this video at my grandparents house, havn't seen it since. thanks.
