when my daddy first played this song for me i was 10 i am now 14 and we still listen to it together and song along. i always see tears in his eyes but he never cries. me and my dad are so close there is no way u could separate us. it breaks my heart to kno that i am gonna leave him someday. i love you daddy no matter how old i get i will always be ur little girl and we will still listen to this song even when i am 30 : ) <3 thumbs up if u love ur daddy

Today at my first cousin wedding was the first time i heard this song. What an amazing song. I cryed through the whole song. I miss my father he passed way when i got married. Again this is an amazing song.

I listsened to this song at my grandfather's funueral. He told me " Kaylie when i die im gonna have this song played....JUST FOR YOU". And when the time came for us to say our goodbye's i looked up and smiled. And at that moment i new he was watching me. Sure i cryed but,it's ok to cry ill always miss my grandfather but i know he's in a better place right now....sure it's not with me but he's happy where he is....with my grandma. This song makes me think of my daddy. He passed away suddenly this past May, the day after monthers day. I was his little girl and even though I am grown with my own family and we live apart, I know he always thought of me. I miss you everyday! This is our song together and will always be!

I cry every time I hear this song. I miss being my daddy's "little" girl. I always be daddy's little girl in his eyes, but now that I'm in college, I can't be little any longer. My dad did read me stories, he tucked me in every night, he was even the first one to hold me when I was born.

@codyann2416 my dad started doing drugs wen i was three and stopped careing we found out when i was 12 but i knew it in my heart and now he lives with his girlfriend and her two kids i think about when he used to take me camping fishing and wed built derby cars together but at least i got memories my little brother only got the sleeping all day leaving you with your sister and going out to do god knows what.

I want to dance with my daughters on their wedding days to this song. I have twin 4 year old girls and when they were infants I would hold one in each arm while this song was playing on the radio and nestle my face up to theirs and whisper this to them and dance with them. You should have seen the coos and smiles they gave me back.

This song is so loving & means so much to me and my dad, we danced to it at my wedding almost 2yrs ago. My dad is always rite there for me when i need him just as i am for him especially now, on 8-18-10 yesterday he had to have surgery fora crushed spinal cord injury from an accident he had, i was so scared of losing him. So i will be rite there next to him through his recovery every step of the way! I love you daddy! Love your bandit!

When I was planning my wedding, I had told my Dj about how my father had been critically ill that summer, she (our dj) suggested this song. I think the song was so much more poignant because Dad didn't think he'd live long enough to see us get married. I can tell you everyone wept as we danced to this.
