It really amazes me that Alan Haynes is virtually unheard of in many music scenes. I have friends that have been playing the blues for 30 years that have never heard of Alan. For shame for shame. I recall,( about 30 years ago), reading an interview in Guitar Player magazine with Robert Cray, whom then mentioned that one of his favorite players/singers was Alan. Maybe some day Alan will get the acclaim he so rightly deserves. Thank you AluneRod! You Rock!

Can't call him a wild man, cause he plays under such control.
I don't know why he doesn't get more credit either.

Been a HUGE fan of Alan 4ever. Saw him play at the Big Easy in Houston and a couple 'a different joints in Austin. AH is the man.
