@xpertfan you are missing the hole point of the white stripes.In an age of music where everybody uses tons of computer effects and pre-recorded back tracks and autotunes ,this band goes back to the routes with very simple harmony, melody and rhythm with no bass,trying to bring the creativity,art,and humanity in music.And the solo you called badly composed, wasn't set down and written, it was an improvisation just like the entire shows of the white stripes, so as to deliver a real experience

As soon as the guitar solo starts, its from another concert, just another clip cut together. Search 'Ball and Biscuit UGWNL' on youtube and you can find the version it comes from, which happens to be the one featured on their live CD.
