I see on some of vids on youtube that there seems to be a some extras not present on the earlier versions 16 bit ones included.

I always thought that a feature or add on to increase the hypersapace jump from 7.0 light years to say 15 would have been a useful toy in the original versions.

Never played this remake but you seem to have an immense amount of money or is money more asily made in the version.

I hacked the user file for the extra money for the test. But note that gameplay is about the same as Elite. So funds can be easily come by or can be slowly accrued depending upon the routes you take.

It's an OXP. I can't remember the name, it might be called "Computer Voices". It's found on Oosat Too.

Out of interest did you ever manage to complete one of the original versions ?

I completed the speccy version back around 86 or 87, many through the night sessions to do that lol !!
