  • In 1975, I fall on the rocks climbing up at the age of 10. I got 14 stiches. 10 Years later my best friend and I jump off the existing bridge up stream into only 6 feet of water. Like a shallow jump instead of a dive.

  • Did a lot of swimming/jumping in that creek 83-87. There used to be a rope swing that was fun. Also enjoyed Rock Run up near Ralston PA.

  • I did alot of swimming at the beach in the late 1960's and early 1970's on the other side of the creek...do people still go there? Do you know if these guys are at the site of a former bridge crossing? Was this directly across from the beach swimming area?

  • yea, im a seinor at montoursville high school and its still the best swimming place on the creek, and it was the old slabtown bridge

  • were you a warrior on the 2008 football team? I saw most of those games...thought you guys were going to take mt carmel

  • I grew up just up the road from here on 87. I tripped while running off a cliff once near Barbous. I went off the edge like superman. Landed in knee deep water on my side. Scared the hell out of me. Ended up with scratches and bruises.

  • ouch! i believe the area in the video above is called Slabtown; it's just down from a bridge. later that day, we watched/videotaped two young boys (around age 10?) jump right off the bridge into the creek.
