Yes it is the spousal analogy and I think that they just took the "love explosion analogy" from what people describe Pope John Paul II's "Theology of the Body" as that it is a timebomb of love waiting to explode to transform the whole world.

Man do I ever wish that my high school had that program years ago! I want to teach this so bad to teens, young adults, and whoever!
