This is to contrast it to the common misconception that emo music is the genre where the vocalists sing with high pitched voice with punk rock type guitar riffs and power chords. If you don't want to put labels to bands like Urbandub, then join the club. But giving them labels for their genre is inevitable. And yes, in the true sense of things, they are rock, emotional, post-hardcore, etc. and they're straight up great.
