  • dont worry though, the government has now made internet addiction a treatable disease. we all have it, its normal..... thats like making a tv watching treatment, but im sure most of you will be on the "cure" soon.

  • Its probably a play on all of you tools that dont buy the album and post on youtube. You just join other tribes but here we go again following all the trends... its actually pretty spot on for most of you posting here. You have no idea what music is or where it comes from. If real musical talent punched you in the stomach you would say you had cramps, fuck you guys.

  • @jakej3tt123 Oddly enough when I first listened to it I thought it was a joke on the people who'd buy it. T:/

  • I just want to start free styling when the song starts. lol

  • This is a tune!!!!! Give it a chance! Idiots!

  • this fuckin' stinks. way to throw out everything that made you good.

  • @sadmachine come on! I would not have wanted them to release another El Cielo and I do appreciate that they tried to experiment with something new it just that it didn't come off. I hate this album more than anything but I still appreciate the guys as musicians.

  • Its not terrible... but it isnt great.

  • Wah! By far the worst Dredg album there is! This certainly goes down as the let down of the year. Shocking effort from the band that released one of my all time fav albums in El Cielo.

  • @Frooshie1 i dont care?

  • dan the automator helped on the album..

  • just amazing

  • I think I've listened to this more than any other song in the past couple months

  • you shouldnt talk bad about the album before you heard the songs performed live *-*

  • @audiostrife

    correct. can't wait.

  • I'm beginning to think that this album was made dilluted and overproduced for a purpose, an artistic statement sort of. The cover is of a blonde woman wearing only panties, a shirt, and a spooky mask. This could be a spoof of what models and women look like in the media. Even in this song, it talks about "going against the grain" and about joining "another tribe" to build up a lie. also "Here we go, go again. Folliwng all the trends. It's become an obsesstion." is an example. Just an idea.

  • @computergeeq

If any of it seems hazy, repetitive, or doesn't make sense I apologize. I wrote this really late at night and was tired. I hope I explained most of what I meant. Just an idea, not meant to say I'm right. I might be wrong.

  • @computergeeq That is exactly what my thoughts were on this album... That at least made me appreciate it more. I bet their next release will be something beautifully different.

  • The problem with album...well...the many problems with this album...involve not so much the writing or the talent or creativity of the members in the band, but the terrible production. I literally just saw them play a couple hours ago (Bottom lounge, Chicago, 5/14/2011) They opened with this song and it was great. BUT it had real drums, real instruments, vocals without digital muting...etc. IT WAS REAL. This album is so watered down it takes away from the best parts of the band...THE BAND!

  • @TheCGAF Totally agree.

  • @TheCGAF I second that.

  • el cielo... regret....

  • Well...I actually think this song is quite catchy...has a very nice groove to it.

  • smoke some and listen to the tracks, dredg is like wine, they only get better with age.

got my pink floyd and dredg playlist ready

  • song is fuckennn sexy

  • Its not that I don't like this new stuff, it just seems with all the drum samples and stuff it has taken one of the cool elements out of the band which is Dino and his bad ass drumming. It seems to not be here on this record and that disappoints me. Perhaps it will grow on me.

  • At first I didn't know what to think about the new Dredg CD. But I am really enjoying it now.

  • It's so fucking depressing that this hasn't even hit 1,000 views. Shit is the jaaaam

  • yeah.. this album is amazing. Automators production totally elevated the band, and the sound (not that it was bad before). im a huge dredg fan, of every album. this one might be tied for one of my favorites.

  • I like it.

Haters gonna hate, to each his own, and all that other crap you've already heard.

  • baller

  • well...as always with dredg, interesting lyrics. i'm just not digging the whole compilation/production deal. it's just boring to me. but hey, they are veteran artists trying new things. still have a ton of respect for these guys.
