  • Did anybody get a good look at his shoulder number? I am an inspector for the Metropolitan police TSG unit and this behaviour is simply unacceptable this officer will be dealt with severely!

  • Due to the lack of anything meaningful in my life, Im going to feign outrage and engage in some sanctimonious, self righteous, faux concern and condemnation. Having seen this video, I simply cannot sleep at night.

  • You know ten full riot gear kits were stolen from a police van left open at the G20 demonstrations in April this year? There's a reasonable chance these are the thieves, not police officers.

  • Come on Denny, you know that's not the case. The vids predate the alledged theft of riot gear by about 18mths.

  • @brilliantminds How'd you work that out? It says this video was posted 4th October 2009 - the G20 protest was in April 2009. Google "g20 2009 riot gear stolen" and you'll find an article in The Sun (sorry) about the theft of riot gear at that demo. If the videos were made before that, I'm not sure how I should know that? All I have to go on is the date it was posted here.

  • @dennymeta fair point, just to confirm the fact, these videos predate the G20 in London when some Police equipment was allegedly stolen. I appreciate now you were going on the upload date of the videos. point taken.

  • What a racist moron, and this blokes allowed to police people in the UK. Shame on him. Great work and nice one to the citizen journalist who put this footage up.

  • @justlaw999 LMAO!!! You sucker...

  • Shouldn't be too difficult to identify this officer, shoulder numbers and holes in his helmet!

Glad he thinks it's fine to trash his equipment.

  • Wow, I think the initial racist comment of this officer warrents serious investigation. How offensive to utter 'F*ck you Abo'.

I'm amazed that the only other comments on here are from Police, which seems to condone this officers actions. Just gets worse if this is the real opinions of serving officers.

  • @MegaRunout How can you be 100% certain that these are police? Aussie accents, the word "Abo"??? Old police kit can be picked up in lots of places. Just look on eBay. I think the opinion of "real officers" simply reflects the fact that they are fed up with morons making news out of nothing, simply to have a go, especially when there is no hard proof. And especially when ill informed "armchair experts " start getting on their high horses over something quite trivial.

  • @MASHJOB: yes u can all have a bit of fun on your own or your friend's PRIVATE land or an airsoft ground. otherwise it's illegal firing a bb gun in public.

as for the uniform it's fine as long as your NOT trying to impersonate a police officer or fool the public into thinking you are.

however the POLICE badge is only for POLICE officers, and is illegal to possess if your a civilian. as ministry of defense stores won't sell any POLICE badges or clothing with POLICE on them to civilians.

  • @electifiedzombie Since when did the Ministry of Defence supply uniform to the Metropolitan Police? Someone needs to do their check their facts. For your information, you can pick up such items on eBay and militaria shops. I went to a Banksy exhibition in Bristol and one of his exhibits was a dummy wearing the exact same outfit.!!! I dont think Banksy is a police officer.... I wear an England football shirt, but I dont play for England.

  • @MASHJOB: lmao u got the wrong end of the stick, ministry of defense surplus stores sell off ex police gear to the public except POLICE branded items.

ebay sellers might sell it to anyone but they are breaking the law doing so.

wearing an ENGLAND shirt, any civilian can and ain't a restricted item.

look on onestopcopshop and go to legal section on the left hand corner and also read: the Police Act 1996 Section 90

  • @electifiedzombie I must have the wrong end of the stick. But, to be honest, Im confused as to what point you were really trying to put across. Perhaps you are trying to kindly enlighten me on many aspects of the law, for which Im grateful, though there is no need. Im more than aware of the rules relating to police uniform thank you. MY point is that these arent necessarily police officers. Rightly or wrongly, lots of civilians are in possession of ex police gear.

  • @MASHJOB: civilians possessing ex police gear in the uk is fine as long as you don't impersonate an officer or try fool the public you are one. otherwise it's illegal.

however possessing POLICE badges or clothing that say POLICE on them is illegal.

as it's MUCH easier for criminals to commit crimes like that.

HOWEVER obsolete marked items like the 1970's bobby police crown hats seem to be allowed(as far as I know), as long as you don't try and impersonate an officer with it.

  • @electifiedzombie . My , you are very knowledgeable. Did you learn all that in the force?

  • @MASHJOB:, lmao i'm not a cop. but one of my friends is a special constable.

  • @electifiedzombie Most of my friends are regulars....

  • @MASHJOB looks like you're very interested in these videos, returning time after time..... want to tell us something? Is that you in the video?

  • @brilliantminds Well, my friend, this is a free world, this is a free site and Im just as entitled to visit and comment on this site as all the other interested parties..am I not? Or do people like you dictate who should and shouldnt visit and comment? In answer to your question, no I am not in the video. Why would I be? If you take the time to look, I commented on this months ago. Ive only just re visited in reply to a very recent comment from someone else. Is that ok with you?

  • @brilliantminds Actually, didnt YOU upload this video? Surely you must know who is in it? Its obviously a fit up..LOL

  • @MASHJOB no just uploaded to the Web for all to see. You can make up your own mind about who may or may not be in the video. It's clearly a Met Police officer. And yes of course Mashjob you're more than welcome to post and watch away. (does it bring back memories for you?)

  • Its not TSG the shoulder numbers are that of a borough Level 2 officer. Most of the clips are a harmless laugh however unless that is a already damaged helmet he should be charged for a new one and given a telling off. Nothing else.
