San is a good actor, but Smallville real does suck badly, it should've been canceled after season 3, the repetitiveness of it with the "Freak of the week" and ruining all the Superman villains they've brought into it have destroyed any credibility they show ever had, the episodes with Christopher Reeve as Virgil Swan were the best, every other episode of the show is just bloody awful.

well, personally I felt TFU had a FANTASTIC story and Sam Witwer did great in that role. I hope he can bring that strength to this show. Especially since Smallville has become SO repetitive and ridiculous.... hopefully this just ends the show and it goes out with a bang

but u have to realize that that's how smallville does things. all of the alien characters have human appearances, so it's no surprise that doomsday will be the same. most likely there will be some surprises in store for this season with doomsday.
