Air video on my iPad, and i have a router, it works find if i am home, but if i leave the house it will not work, unless i attach the cable directly , from the provider internet box to my computer, why?
like if i have a router and videos on my desktop...will it use the internet and waste my monthly data with my isp? or is it just like using a usb but with no usb?
@CameronLairdPhoto However, you can use the internet for those without a crap isp! this allows the user to connect to the airvideo server no matter where they are as long as theirs wi-fi around! (pretty cool)

@psalib89 No, doesn't use the internet at all, just your local wireless network.
