that is absolutely not true, although the squad back in 2007 had more depth, it had less quality in the first eleven. Obviously the "team" that got us 86 points was the better side assembled by rafa, but the squad did lack depth and we got away with it with only injuries to gerrard n torres last year.

But I had to agree with u that we shouldn't have let him go. He wanted first team football n the partnership of torres n gerrard meant that will never happen on a regular basis.
