@sailxonxmusic This song is definitely tough but it's all about shapes. Once you get the hand patterns down and the "ideas" down, you can learn it pretty quickly with a lot of practice. I'm almost there now and when I started I thought I would never ever understand it.

But I'm not used to playing fingerstyle guitar and I've been playing for about 2 years now but without anyone to teach me so I guess you could say that I'm still kind of a beginner. I learn very quickly, that's not the point. I just need a bit of explanation and then I'll be able to learn it I guess. But like I said, there are no good tutorials on youtube. Most of them aren't mason williams' version, and that's the one I want to learn.. :(

@sailxonxmusic For this one I use something called the "claw" style. That is, my thumb, index and middle finger do most of the work. I mean there are parts that you have to use the other two fingers but mostly I can play a lot of it with the claw finger style. Maybe that will help you?
