All these bikes are "single pivot system" with (or not) a small cantiveler system, these aren´t the top rigs.

In fact some of them aren´t downhill bikes but "4 cross" bikes (i don´t what they call...dual slalom isn´t for sure called anymore)

Dh is strickly racing, freeride ivolves drops, and jumps on big bikes, but the tricks are lame

You must not ride mountain bikes. Downhill isn't strictly racing. Which is why things such as downhill parks exist. Where everyone is just riding. Also before saying freeriding is lame, try watching red bull rampage or some videos of pro freeriders.

In DH you try to improve your time, simmilar to racing, is it not? And I didnt say freeriding is lame, I said the tricks are lame, compared to slopestyle and dj's.

Its not all about improving your time, besides I've yet to go to a downhill park where they just have a track timer all set up for you. You try to go fast, but its not all about the best times and racing. Sometimes its just being able to nail a line or do a trail smooth

As have I, but the smoother you are, usually the faster you are. Going fast serves no point if you are always sketchy.

diference between freeride and downhill??

are there any downhill or freeride bikes for sale for less than 700 dollars???

which ones.?? people who want to get started in downhill, how do they get up mountain?they pedal up too? can freeride and downhill bikes climb mountains too or only ride them down?

Yes there is a difference, ALL beginner Fr/Dh bikes are atleast about $2,000 unless u get a used one. No they arent built to climb, and usually they get some type of ride up to the top of a mountain. my theory between them, is i think DH is the race type (such as Mx in dirtbiking) and Fr is like Fmx, like more of a trick/ jump kind of thing, thats my theory, im not surprised if im wrong

maybe its the heaviest but its the best dh bike at the moment. the trek session 88.

the handling is perfect of the bike and u dont feel the weight if u drive.

the demo 8 is one of the best bikes, why is it in your opinion bad ? u drive it ? i drive it and its very nice maybe its expensiv but thats all.
